I agree but more movement & Miller will find the passing lanes.

We could use a down low play for tap in type goals once in awhile. It again needs more movement & either Hughes or Miller finding a lane.

If that unit continues to be stationary, it doesn't matter how many weapons are on the ice, it is pretty easy to defend against.

Yup.

Miller was pretty lousy last night - coughing up the puck or the hard to nowhere passes across the ice. It seems like he doesn't really care, but gets mad at everything anyway.

I thought the game started to turn on Myers leveling that ahoel Keith. "We are not afraid!"

Richardinson seemed pretty invisible, and Kokki was looking decent for the video game addict we traded him for.

Too bad Pearson didn't score in OT. Smith played well other than Hughes greasy one.

He is the Canucks only weapon. We need a shooter on the other side or use OEL from point. So easy to take away just EP. Maybe look at say Washingtons PP and how they still get OV his looks.
- SMP8719

Agree WAS has different dynamics to get OV his looks and quality chances. I think Boeser back will hep big on the PP as you said a threat from both sides.

He had the most shots on the team last night
- Codes1087

Quality over quantity. He had 5-6 more great looks and chose to head fake and pass.

- neem55

I thought D!ckinson was pretty good last night. It helps having Hogz on your line. He's pretty much good on any line.

He had the most "high danger" quality shots as well though. He also had the best possession numbers out of all canuck forwards. He pretty much did everything but score last night.

I just didn't notice him at all. By the end of the 2nd I was wondering what number he was....Hogz was really good - a few times he won the puck or made some moves that were world class. Nice that he doesn't fall down all the time like that other swedish guy

We finally have enough quality forwards that we can have some dangerous players on the 3rd line.
Nice to see.

I like the quote by TG of using Hogs versatility throughout the lineup to get others going.

Green says a lot of things but up until half way through the 3rd, Chiasson had more ice time. Kept him out of the shoot out for Pearson.

Didn't watch the game live, only saw the highlights.

It was hilarious reading through some of the comments last night tho.

Loved seeing the pushback to tie up the game.
Nice to see OEL get on the score sheet early.
Myers with the huge hit, showing what he can bring to game to that rat Keith.
Loved it.

Yeah, i'd like to see Hogs on the s/o too.
But hey, Pearson almost buried it in o/t and Green went with the hot hand.

Pearson in the shootout made zero sense. And then he totally misses the net 2 -3 feet at least. Too bad we didn't sign Turris. He was effective. Would have been a better play than Sutter.

More movement would definitely help. The second PP had good movement before OEL scored.. even it was a fluky tip by Edm own player.

I didn't mind Petey last night...but you can tell his game is a bit off from the lack of training camp. His decision making was ok but again I feel he could have got the puck to the net more in certain situations.

Why wasn't Chiasson tried. Could have a 2nd use for him on the team.

hypothetical question.
What would happen if you put Chaison as your 1st shooter on the s/o, and you just run the goalie to shake him up?

Would you get a penalty?
