It sucks that Byfield got injured. He was playing pretty well in the preseason and I think would have contributed this year. Improved his total game and saw some more fight in him. Interesting that Turcotte hasn't moved the needle a bit more yet.

Edit: The thing is, he's not a bad player at all. He's just not great. He reminds me of Forsling when he was on the Hawks. Forsling has turned into a decent player (and only 25 by the way). Joki is not there yet. I'm going to hold onto my opinion that Mitchell will become a very good d-man, as long as they are patient with him.

That entire show was a mess. Toccet can barely speak, Gretzky uncomfortable as you stated, Liam tried his best to bring it all together, but that Charles Barkley fiasco with him attempting to play goaltender was a disgrace.
