PP1 needs a big lefty shot. 4 rights and only 1 left in Kreider is odd to me. Maybe swap Strome out but don’t love our other options either. Coulda been Krav… |

Was thinking the same. Swap Strome for Kakko or Lafreniere. |

I think it will happen. Panarin on the right wing makes him a passer only essentially or shooting for rebounds. No angle from that side. |

What an ending. Panarin looks out of sync. Still good but not great like usual. |

We said the same thing all of last year to, nothing will change. That five has been the first unit for a long time now |

Kinda surprised Gallant didn't shake that up. |

Guess the only hope is Kakko or Laf playing so well it becomes obvious to move them there. Laf really needs to start taking over some games. Consensus #1 pick, it’s time. |

Laf really isn’t noticeable. Expected him to drive play like Panarin but too slow and outmuscled a lot |

Yep I had no problem with Gallant moving him off that top line for a bit. Just wish we had a better option than Goodrow to replace him with lol |

Yea, he clearly has the skill when he has time and space. Unfortunately you have to make it for yourself in this league and he’s had trouble doing that so far. Kakko has definitely gained a step since he first showed up, I’m sure Laf will too. Just hope he can become the PPG player we need him to be. |

Goodrow has shown me nothing in these 2 games+preseason to justify why we HAD to have him for 6 more years |

That third line really would be better with Kravs on it |
