Wait, a Philly team has an injury problem? Inconceivable!!!!

Oh that's right, this happens to every other team in all 4 major sports EVERY year. I'm just a delusional Flyers fan.

Hey Bill, file away for later when you've got a slow hockey day: I'd be curious to see a comparison/analysis of missing key pieces for the Flyers and their opponents in playoff series where they were eliminated. This way I'll know if I really am delusional or if we have the worst luck ever.

It's a new season with some new players. I'd prefer to keep a pairing the same if I can. The 2nd pairing is going to be very important. I keep them together.

We have an inferior medical staff. Other teams medical staffs are able to make their players immune to injuries from blocking shots.

He was good enough to make the team, they just decided they really needed Dryden Hunt on the roster and two checking lines for some reason. I don't blame Kravtsov for feeling like WTF???
- Tomahawk

He is obviously not good enough to make the team or he would have made it. Very similar to Frost. He is not a 3rd or 4th line type player no physicality to his game. They also sent down Morgan Barron a very talented C. They didnt want him on 4th line though he could play 4th line and earned a spot. Happens every day in the NHL some guys like Puljajarvi and Kravtson whine...PS they dont have 2 checking lines their 3rd line will score plenty

Sammy Blais has a career high of 8-goals. Barclay Goodrow also has a career high of 8-goals. Chytil's a much better player than either of those two, but his career high is 14. Where are all these goals gonna come from? Julien Gauthier and his 2 career goals? Ryan Reaves?

The obvious play was to keep Kreider on the left side, commit to Kravtsov in the top-six, and spread the depth so Chytil has some legit wingers to play with.

Well, unlike most posters on here, I've actually done my master's thesis on this and after years of dedicated research I actually was able to conclude that we're just cursed.

Let's go back even further. How about not trading Buchnevich so you can add Blais, Goodrow and Reaves

Is it possible they can be a better team with those 3 than what they were with Buchnevich?

I really have no idea what they're trying to do right now.

At least for the Flyers, some of the young guys not making the team have injury/rust excuses, and some of the plugs they brought in actually have a track record of NHL production at least.

Unfortunately for the Flyers, the Rags still have enough talent to make the POs.

Ran out of K-cups and had to use a spare from a variety box. Mortinson Irish Creme, some pretty bad coffee . Not thrilled.

That's right that's what they were hoping for as he isnt a 3rd or 4th line player. He didnt win the spot so they sent him down just like we did with Frost. Most of their goals will come from their top 2 lines and their D. 3rd line will contribute 35 to 45 goals easily. He didnt win the spot that was his to win.

They traded Buchnevich because they couldnt afford to pay him 6 5 to 7 M and pay bigger pieces like Zibanejad ..Fox etc. Called CAP management. Ha d nothing to do with his skills or the return he is a good player and well liked they had no choice

Our division will be tight. It only takes one or two injuries to really hamper their team. Their kids have to perform too but yes. They could make it.

Not too upset with the Zack MacEwen acquisition. Good numbers in the AHL and a bit of potential there. Will add some toughness to the lineup and chip in a goal here or there. Could be worse.
