So basically Kravs is a little whiney douche who doesn't want to put in the work, and wants to ride his 1st round pick status into the NHL Hall of Fame
- rrentz

Nah. He just doesn’t want to ride a bus around in the AHL because your team filled its roster with plugs.

He isn't better than current top 6 right now and he hasn't played well or hard enough to take a 3rd line spot. He isn't a 4th line player (grit and physicality lacking), SOOOOO what should NYR have done?......keep him in the stands or send him to AHL and get him top tier minutes and allow him to play his way into a top 9 role?

Not sure where Gauthier or Hunt beat Kravtsov out of a top spot! That power play goal against the Isle Saturday night was something I was looking forward to seeing. Just Kuch sets up for the one time on the right, thats where I saw Vitali. Personally I thought the kid being sent down was more to do about not leaving others exposed to the waiver wire so we dont loose them for nothing! Kaako Laffy & Zib are one line, Panarin, Chytil, & Kravtsov should be another, then we have Strome center Kreider and Goodrow, finally Rooney with Blais & Reeves. This isnt hard to imagine!
They screwed the pooch with Lias, then the complete debacle with Tom Wilson, relieving JD & JG! This is starting to look more like a the Days of our Lives than an up and coming NHL club with aspirations of winning Lord Stanely! Chris, Gerard, Please get this straightened out before the kid finds a new home!

Well they drafted him, need to do better background checks on these kids

I agree w/ ya there. Both Lias and Kravs were taken before some other guys we all thought would be better....BUT that was old regime

Mollie Walker:

“ At the end of last season, Kravtsov had a contentious exit-meeting with Rangers management. Much of the strained discussion zeroed in on the way No. 74 trains in the offseason, which left Kravtsov thinking he was going to be traded. Kravtsov decided to fire his agent, Paul Theofanous, and hired new representation in Dan Milstein amid issues with Rangers brass”

- airjan23

Makes it more dumb they didn't trade him before all of this came out. So yea the Rangers are at fault here

Well I'm happy with Cuylle in return for Lias, so hopefully NYR gets another youngster to swap for the Commi little biatch

Perhaps he just wasn't good enough...at least not yet anyways. Like Lias...two coaches with the same vision on the player. Said player baby-cries because he didn't get his way.

Your overall draft position doesn't justify anything.

Im wondering if Kravtsov is still bitter about the Buchnevich trade.

Kravtsov, although had shown flashes of some solid skill, was always imo a tradeable asset.

As far as people beating him out. Gauthier did have a good preseason, however I think the shocker was Blais. Blais might have earned himself a spot up the lineup this pushing Kravtsov out.

I will trust the process. I have faith in Gallant.

Yup, my thoughts exactly. I know it's essentially water under the bridge now, but I felt strongly at the the time that Wahlstrom was the right pick, and obviously I still do. Instead, they got cute, and look what happened. Makes me feel even a bit better about Jeff Gorton no longer bei
ng here.

Not that I'm putting Wahlstrom in the Hall of Fame, either, by the way, and get that he is on what is right now, at least, a better team. But could anyone really argue that he looks more like an NHL player than Kravtsov?

And same thing with Lias Andersson. Yes, maybe the way they handled him could have been better, and we'll see what develops with him in LA, but it's entirely possible, as far as I'm concerned, that the ultimate problem is simply that it was a lousy draft pick.

I always got the feeling it was Gord Clark. He seemed like he always thought he could outsmart the rest of the room.

Hey fellas!

I gotta blame the player on this one. He’s always seemed a little entitled (not sure that is the right word in this case lol) maybe more of a me guy. And they aren’t keeping me guys around.

Krav hasn’t proved anything yet. He has some pair of balls imo. Kudos for that, but that poop ain’t flying around NYR land. You’re not handed anything, especially a top 9 role. He had one goal in the preseason, I’m sure the injury didn’t help but maybe he needs some more time. The twenty games he had last season weren’t anything great to speak of either. I guess taking some lumps isn’t in his DNA

Hopefully for everyone, maybe Panarin can get to him and help him understand the situation. From what I read recently, it was only a short term demotion.

I hear you but as a player when you know you are clearly better than others who are kept it has to piss you off, especially two years in a row. I have watched this kid and he has elite potential, he is only 21 and his skill is off the charts. Rangers screwed up big time playing head games with this guy. He knows it and good for him for not taking it. How do you develop when you other two linemates are culls?

If you are taking draft position into consideration, and you act like all 12 forward spots are chosen purely by skill level and potential than yes..you are right...hes is better than some of the other players who made the roster.

If you live in reality and observe that you aren't better than the current top 6 and didn't play better than the guys on the 3rd line, and you aren't suited to play 4th line, then you go to AHL and work hard and improve your overall game....

You go to the minors like the rest of the cuts who have skills as well and you tear it up there and get called up.

What head games did they play? Are you in the meetings, locker room, training facility? He got demoted...not a head game...just reality. Probably 90% of players in NHL had the same thing happen to them at one time or another at the beginning of their pro careers
