I need to ask you something since I feel you can be impartial.
I was sort of in a conversation that featured someone indicating that they don't feel Zibanejad is a true #1 C in the league. This person was an Islanders fan and I didn't feel like getting into a whole debate since I felt like the opinion was biased and likely a waste of time to argue.
Since you are also an Islanders fan what's your opinion? - JRR1285
Obviously joking....
He's absolutely a #1 center |

To St. Louis:
Ryan Strome
Kravtsov
Matthew Robertson
Brennan Othmann
Blues own 2nd round pick
To Rangers:
Tarasenko
Robert Thomas w/ 50% retention for cap purposes.
Blues upgrade their center position, remove the Tarasenko drama, gain valuable cap space and get younger pieces for their future.
Rangers get the best player in the deal but assume all of the injury risk if Tarasenko can't stay healthy. Rangers also take on significant cap. Thomas adds a young center into their mix. |

There is no way we are getting Robert Thomas as a throw in.

I don't even think that would make it through in an NHL video game. |

Not sure why this question even needs to be asked. Mika is the 24th highest scoring center over the last 5 seasons. And that includes a group who are on the way toward the twilight of their careers, Malkin, Tavares, Stamkos, Giroux... |

That's pretty cool. I wish they signed him to a 1 day contract so he could retire as a Ranger. |

In D.C., Gerard Gallant said everybody's healthy, and that Ryan Reaves, Jarred Tinordi and Dryden Hunt are in the opening lineup. So, well, you know what that means. #NYR |

By opening lineup does he mean starting at puck drop or just in the lineup? |

You guys realize that both Tarasenko and Thomas are 3rd liners now for the Blues, right? |

RW David Perron ( leading scorer last year )
Buch
Tarasenko
And Robert Thomas unfortunately had a REALLY bad season, looking to see if he can bounce back. |

Since Igor had a similar path as Kravs.... Played a few seasons in the KHL, came over here, went to Hartford for a few months....
It is surprising he couldn't tell Kravs to shut up and deal with it. Although on the other hand, I'm assuming because they are both Russian they are buddies. Maybe they dont even like each other
Trade Kravs for Kupari straight up |

I can see where you're coming from but until Buch has some games under his belt with St. Louis I still think Tarasenko is ahead of him or at least competing for the same spot. I still think we see a serious drop off for Buch. |
