I don't think we're going to see your fetish happen on the ice tonight.

I need to ask you something since I feel you can be impartial.

I was sort of in a conversation that featured someone indicating that they don't feel Zibanejad is a true #1 C in the league. This person was an Islanders fan and I didn't feel like getting into a whole debate since I felt like the opinion was biased and likely a waste of time to argue.

Since you are also an Islanders fan what's your opinion?

Regardless of the odds, I'd also like to put $20 on Panarin launching a one-timer into Wilson's teeth. Money well spent!

I want to target Capitals finesse players tonight

I get it but this BS has to stop. This league needs to start protecting its players, I'm just not sure how that's actually going to be accomplished.

With all the Russians we have I find it difficult to believe they can’t get through to Kravtsov. Panarin and Shesty are going to be pillars for the next decade most likely, you mean to tell me either one of them can’t slap him around like they did in Aitplane! to that old lady? haha

This isn’t like the deangelo situation and I’m of the opinion when it’s settles down (meaning the trade offers aren’t to the rangers liking) he goes to Hartford and Krav grows up (like he clearly needs to do) and all will be forgotten. It could take all season which would suck, but still I think this ends with him as a Ranger eventually and a prominent member of the top 9 for years

Or he goes to back to Russia and we never hear from him again 😞

The fact that Drury told Kravstov and his agent to find a trade makes me think Drury hasn't even bothered to look at all. I doubt a trade is close at all.

Drury knows Krav has no leverage if he wants to be an NHL player and I think he clearly wants to be that

Are you saying it might be possible that the GM is not ok with losing a top 10 pick while his value is in the dumpster??????
It sounds like they haven't been happy with his effort level (off ice) for over a year at least. Drury is probably (justifiably) a little pissed off. I just hope he has no intention of moving him for less than they feel he will eventually be worth.
Let him mature... either like a fine wine, or like a piece of poop. Either way, the kid has made his own bed. Not saying the organization couldn't have handled him better, but they probably feel like they shouldn't have to.

Yeah, I'm ready for them to move forward. But, it has to be by making it perfectly clear that being pushed around simply will not happen anymore.

The league...well Parros...has failed to do so. And when he fvcked it up last season, the league did nothing put take away Wilson's milk money for the day in a fine that mirrored what Rooney received for mimicking the muscle flex pose.

The enforcer role will be returning to the NHL in the near future if this trend continues. Players will protect their own. If the NHL doesn't like it, they can blame nobody but themselves for it.

But be smart about it. Reaves will get a ghost penalty as the refs try to contain the game before it begins. Anyone know who is wearing the stripes tonight?

Pretty much echoing my thoughts.

He’s been ALL hype so far and a few great KHL highlights. I wasn’t impressed at all in his time last year, and to be fair I didn’t watch much preseason at all, but he obviously wasn’t great either

I’m actually impressed they’ve stood their ground if that is the case and didn’t hand him anything out of the gate. They want a bigger tougher meaner character team which they did become, and he hasn’t brought that to the table

It definitely doesn’t make any sense to trade him right now

As soon as Reaves puts his skates on the ice they call a too many men on the ice penalty.

I don't know, the Rangers are one injury away in their top 6 to being depleted now. Last year they had players like Laf, Kakko or at the end Kravtsov that could step up in the top 6 if someone was out. Now they have no one. It's so thin Kreider has to play right wing. It worries me for the long haul of the season.

Tarasenko would now be an interesting addition.....
