Tanev was noticeable on every shift. He was fun to watch. Yeah, his contract was steep, but Hexy could have made it work. It's an entertainment business and Tanev was entertaining.

I basically exclusively work off my AppleTV interface these days and always love it when ESPN/ABC have all the good college football early games because of that multicast. ESPN also integrated their app into AppleTV’s own native multicast but it’s super clunky when trying to use it with apps that don’t support it, which is pretty much everyone else. Really hope that Fox, Paramount, and Peacock follow suit soon. Will be massive for my sports watching.

The presentation on ESPN is better than NBC from a personel standpoint. I'd much rather hear from guys like Messier, Chelios, Ferraro, etc. than clowns like Milbury, Pierre, and Roenick.

The camera angles were kinda meh, but i figured ESPN would play around with different angles to see which ones stick. The skycam shots were too far away and didnt give the viewer much of a view on the puck. I have a good sized TV and picture and I was struggling with seeing the puck. That's one of hockey's bigger problems in general... getting an angle for the average fan with an average TV/streaming.

The skycam was probably the worst I've ever seen watching hockey. NBCs rail cam was pretty bad too that was on top of the glass.

Oh I don’t need anything. I have smart TVs and I use an Apple TV box. Was curious how the Apple TV thing Vic was talking about works as I recently started using Tablo for football.

Lol at Simon alone on the goalie trying to dangle, then Boyle shows the difference between an echl player and an nhl player in the same situation. Good game by everyone last night but that was funny.
