No that was Chytil, but Krav also scored in that game
- Isles

Thanks! Is Krav losing a spot because the Rangers want more grit? Dolan will not be happy unless the Rangers have a brawl every game.

Yeah I thought one of Wahlstrom/Dobson was going to the Rangers that draft for sure

Wouldn't be the slightest bit surprised to see Carolina take him and turn him into a useful middle-six guy

Kravs has the talent to be up. The problem is two fold, Kravs is whining child for not accepting being sent down and Drury is dumb for sending him down while keeping Guathier and Hajek

In another year or so Dobson is going to make that pick look even worse

He does seem to be a bit of a diva at times but I still don't understand why they didn't keep him over some of those other guys

Not denying that the player is maybe a bit of a baby at all, but the whole management of things by Drury this offseason can't leave many Ranger fans feeling great.

Didn't they trade Buchnevich to make room for Kravstov? Then awarded two inferior players roster spots over him and now will have effectively wasted two consecutive top 10 picks (2017 and 2018).

Of course, the latter doesn't fall on Drury. But the whole thing doesn't look good.

If for no other reason then to let him go out there and play well and move him for some reasonably-valuable assets

Mgmt was not really great with Gorton either. Lucked into the #1 and #2 picks. Gorton made brutal signings with trouba and to an extent kreider. Drafted Lias and the Mcd trade was awfu.

So far Drury traded buch for peanuts, Zib contract isnnt great and (frank)ed up their top 10 pick. Never a dull moment

I thought Gorton was a little overrated. JD I think was the bigger loss. I thought it was dumb for the Rangers to have no toughness at all last year. Probably would have still brought back Gorton for another year and then get rid of him if this year did not work out and keep JD.

I disagree on the Zibanejad contract. It might not be a team-friendly deal, but it's not bad and they didn't have much of a choice. Had they waited until he was a UFA he would've had the team by the balls...big time. He's a good player and he'll remain a Ranger for the rest of his career. It's a pretty fair price, given the leverage the player had. The Trouba contract is infinitely worse, for me.

Gorton wasn't perfect, but I think he did a really good job turning the team around real quickly. Some luck there for sure with the Kakko/Lafreniere lottery wins, but he did pretty well. The Andersson/Kravstov picks stunk at the time and stink now, but other than that I'd say Gorton was largely positive for the org.

Drury isn't off to the best start, but I get the feeling most of what he's done has been dictated by Dolan. Remains to be seen, but I'm yet to be impressed with Drury.

The AAV and term are fine. Its the structure of bonuses where its basically buyout proof. Trouba and Kreider are not finishing their deals with the rangers.

I liked Gorton I just thought he was abit overrated. Drury isnt calling the shots. Its Sather and Drury.

Sather having any involvement at this point is a huge red flag.

Hopefully tomorrow they call up Panik and send Hickey down. They don't need the boss against the Hurricanes. I'd rather see Panik on that line. Then when Martin is ready you waive Leo. Only carry 7 dmen

Huh...didn't know that before you said it. That's either bizarre or concerning. I'd love to see him come over and hop into the AHL.

I'm leaning towards Bizarre. He hasn't been back that long and already not in the lineup?? Also MDC cleared waivers

When I first saw him no in the lineup I assumed there was a certain time period of quarantine when coming from another country (at least a couple of days).. then you have to practice with team at least a couple of times. If he is still being scratched in a couple of weeks I would be more concerned.. not overly at this point.

I think Finland's rules are Covid Test on arrival and another one in 3-5 days. so my guess is Raty will be playing soon enough

If #Isles do file Schneider/Bellows contracts today or tomorrow, neither needs waivers if they stay with the big club. Thought that they would need waivers because contracts were filed after rosters were set, but not so.

Schneider will be filed so he can travel tomorrow.

Well that's good news
