Tampa lost $8.3 million last season as they won the cup. According to Forbes, the franchise is worth $430 Million. Thats over $200 Million less than what the Kraken just paid for a team. The average ticket price is $64. Using the term sell out when you offer family deals of 4 tickets, a full meal and parking for under $200 is using the term loosely at the very least.

Tampa is a terrible sports city that cannot appreciate excellent teams. The baseball team is one of the favorites to win the world series yet they announce that they will be playing half their seasons moving forward in Montreal

Mrs. Wedgie and I went to a game there about 20 years ago.

Still one of my favourite places I've been to for a game (I'm at 16 NHL cities now).

When we were there, Ybor City was just starting to get developed - it was still pretty crap. I'd love to see what it is like now.

And the outdoor bar at the arena is just sooooooo mind-blowing to this Canadian.
