Do we have any indication that he's even skating and working out? He's going to be a long way from any type of game shape and the season is just starting.

I think they'll walk away when they can.

I'm more surprised that Hamonic didn't take a break citing mental health issues. I would think he'd be paid and the team would get LTIR. When a team wants him or he can travel/play regularly he could come off.

Maybe the PA/league won't allow pandemic reasoning for MH issues right now? In any event, I'm not blaming JB for this though.
