I know we lost in a shootout last game, but our rooks gave Minny a run for their money & now the team that should be the opening night roster has dominated this game, I'm happy. Just as long as the play is consistent through the season, I don't see why we don't have a spot in the playoffs.

There will be ups and downs especially early. Some nights the Hawks won’t play well. We’ll know pretty well by December what the team should be like, barring injuries of course. The team is very different this year and should be better.

If Strome should make the team I’m interested if he can continue to play with this passion.

Strome is one of the few I'm looking at because his passion is in question. He appears to know he's on the outside looking in. His play looks different. Hope this Mr. Hyde side of him is here to stay.

I’m hoping he can play like this consistently. He’s got some talent and he’s pretty creative but I hope he knows there’s someone wanting his spot should he decide it’s easier to play that dainty game he can be guilty of.
