Podz looks like each game he's getting better, and he is very good playmaker. He protects the puck very well and is hard to play against on the wall. I think the players are actually surprised at some of the passes he completes. His want and ability to take the puck to the net combined with his size is going to put the Canucks on the PP a lot this year.
Lockwood is a pr!ck and I really felt like for a while guys on the Oilers were not focused on the play and more chasing him. He's a sneeky hard hitter and he already has players from opposing teams looking over their shoulders. And... he finishes checks almost every play he can. I want to see him play 8-10 mins a game and see where it goes from there. He has some decent hockey sense to always above the puck him and Motte would suck to play against on a line. - Nucknab23
When Pods is on the ice the puck is usually in the other end and that alone is a huge plus. He is a very good playmaker and still very raw.
Another thing I like is his puck battles where he usually ends up with the puck.
His finish no doubt isn't there yet but it will come just like it did in the KHL.

Gadjovich had a better pre-season than Pod (on the 4th line) but due to Pod’s draft position, could’ve gotten him near 15th to 20th, he’ll get a much longer look. That’s just how it works.
Podkolzin played well last night though, had some good looks. Gaining confidence |

Really, Lockwood cheap shot Drai and McJesus came in tackled him, gave him the dry thrust and Leakywood hid the rest of the game. Typical chickenpoop like all canuck tough guys. - Nuckerwhatever

Stephen Roget just wrote a very long article that I didnt get past the first two paragraphs of, whining about losing prospects that Canucksarmy had ranked much higher than they probably should have been.
More to do with players they liked on a personal level and not their actual game. |

I came across this abomination
I can’t believe Nonis is ahead of Benning and Burke is ahead of Milford, as colourful as Brian Burke was, he never won jack poop with the Canucks.

He drafted Kesler, Edler, sedins and brought in Burrows/tanev. Seems pretty dam solid... |

You were saying this crow routine when Podz had a good game against Denmark in the WJ. I bet you are a premature ejaculator.
