I think everyone appreciated the effort and attitude that Risto brought every day. That was never a question.

He was overused in terms of minutes and competition level and overpaid for what he brought to the ice.

From what I know, it's for electric and fiber optics.
I'm hearing that the stadium is going to be built downtown.

As a 38 year project superintendent, I think it's the wrong place for the stadium for many reasons.
Cost being the biggest reason.
The cost for infrastructure just to accommodate traffic in and out of that stadium is going to be astronomical.
The infrastructure downtown as it is currently constructed, is not even close to being able to accommodate traffic for a 70,000 seating capacity stadium.

We need more bottom 6 forwards like Fabio's kid we just claimed so the rebuild can take another 10 years.

He doesn’t mind the windshield notes as much as he does the “ice cream” trail Taco always leaves down his driveway.

Eichel = 100% surgery.

No team will pass him for a physical, then obviously the only option is surgery.

claiming guys on waivers means you're going to keep him in the NHL. He's not really an NHL player, and he's not better than any of our top 6 D.

There was never a better solution to playing him less or paying him less. How's that on risto? Guy definitely coughed up the puck a bunch, but still. Never a better replacement ...


Not 1 defenseman could dethrone the champ.
They even picked a defenseman #1 overall and are now paying that unproven player more than risto ever made in a season.
