I know I'm in the minority here. Even looking at Cozens, can't help but wonder if some AHL time would have helped. Mitts, Tage....that's making me conservative here.

Agreed on Mitts, we had him penciled into a role he wasn’t ready for. But with Peterka, we don’t need him to fill a spot. This season is going to be a train wreck, there’s not a lot of pressure. If he continues to play the way he has, keep him. First sign of struggle, he goes down. Plus I think it will great motivation for Quinn. The player picked a round after you is on the Sabres. He’s gonna work even harder to get to the NHL.

I’ve been pretty vocal about Tage over the years saying that I think he has NHL attributes and can be a 15+15 guy at worst at the NHL level.

He has to put it all together though this year or else he then turns into the forward version of Risto.

Agreed. I like Tage and think he has first line potential and steady middle six floor. Those tall guys take longer to find their way. Good skater with great hands and that deadly shot, he has the tools. Just needs to learn to use that size to his advantage, which he has shown improvement on.
