Kisakov had 2 assists this morning as well to follow up the two goals yesterday.

I’m unsure if the organization he is apart of has a VHL team, not sure why he’s still in the MHL.

Think they had a pretty decent draft this year, hopefully these kids keep developing and growing.

If they can land a few nice prospects in the Eichel deal we could actually, someday, be a good hockey team
- sbroads24

is someday in the next 5 years?

I now know 9 people personally that died from covid between august 1st and last weekend

none of them had the vaccine

all between 38 and 55 years old

4 other people I know in that age range spent extensive time in hospital

everyone I know that had the vaccine had mild symptoms that did not require a trip to hospital

I'd be curious if others know of the reverse or equal rate of trips to hospital or death between those that had the shot and did not

They might already be deviating from the plan if they're worried about ticket sales this season and next.

Then hopefully some of these kids can show what they're made of sooner rather than later.

There's a nice sprinkle of different skill sets of prospects coming up through the system, it will be fun to watch and see who takes the next step. Know go and stock your C and RD and 2 to 3yrs down the road could be very exciting.

Sabres have the depth part down, and if they are committed to bottoming out the next two years they will get their elite forward prospects too.

We’ll see what comes back in the Eichel deal, the organization will earn its stripes in the 2023 offseason as 2024 should be a year they push the chips in

I don't give a poop whether anyone gets the Vaccine or not. I do respect the right for one to make their own choices.

I also don't feel bad for folks who are unvaccinated and contract the Covid, even those who require hospitalization or suffer death. Their choice comes with risks associated, and the numbers are very, very telling. They are knowingly accepting those risks. Their choice as well.

With several vaccines, and soon to be an approved treatment (kind of like Tamiflu) available, I don't believe it is my responsibility to wear a mask in an effort to protect others who have made their own choice

Those with medical conditions who justifiably don't want/should take on additional risk by being vaccinated are another story however. They need to take their own precautions.

I find it rather sad the reasons/excuses people use to justify their decision based on a political stance. Equally so, it is funny to me when people ridicule others based on false info in their reasoning for others to get vaccinated.

Lastly, maybe if our political leaders on both sides did politicize the Pandemic we wouldn't be in this situation. Just one example because it impacts the plight the current Administration is struggling with the vaccination rate...maybe not question the safety of the vaccine publically in an effort to discredit the success of the previous Adminstration in "getting 'er done"..Karma is a female dog.
There are gaffs on both sides for sure.

There was never a better solution to playing him less or paying him less. How's that on risto? Guy definitely coughed up the puck a bunch, but still. Never a better replacement ...

Not 1 defenseman could dethrone the champ.
They even picked a defenseman #1 overall and are now paying that unproven player more than risto ever made in a season.

I respect your post ☝️

- Boss34

you're right, it's not Risto's fault that the organization chose to play him too much. And you're right about him being the only one, for the most part, physically capable of playing those minutes. The man is a physical speciman, no doubt about it. It falls on the org for overusing him. It falls on the org for creating the impression that he was positively impacting the Sabres, where as, on the ice, in 5v5.. he simply wasn't.

Believe it or not, I will always have a respect for Risto the human and the effort and attitude that he brought to this team. Absolutely. It's just a shame that his on ice play did not match his drive, intensity and usage.

Stop trying to use logic or reason when 55 is involved.

Bad defensive stats only apply to Rasmus Dahlin now
