Conclusions from All or Nothing
Dubas looks like He could be bagging groceries at the Store.
Freddie the Dane is way too serious.
Coach Kweefe suffers from potty mouth, I could see if players turned the megaphone off mid season.
Jack Campbell seems like a nice guy, He should not have shouldered the blame.
Itchy and Clipon are still overpaid primadonnas.
Foligno was a waste of skin.

3 goals in 9 games and I said repeatedly that Muzzin is the guy and and that pairing ran up big minutes against top lines all year. Until Lilli or some comes along Holl is doing ok. That’s it. That’s the big news flash. He’s doing ok on in a key job. - Canada Cup
Sure, and McGod had 4 goals in 9 games against OTT and 3 goals in 9 games against MTL.
Sorry, but I'm not impressed and I'm sure as poop not convinced Holl contributed much to that result.
I get the fact that he's "proven" more than Liljegren. I also get that Dermott is not proven playing on the right side. Holl is, unfortunately, the only option we've got to flank Muzzin at the moment but to try to defend his play as if he was a contributing part of an elite shutdown unit is a bit much.
Holl's play diminished appreciably as the season wore down and as teams started to ramp up their play. He's not "okay". He sucks but he shoots right and Lilybust is waivers exempt so yeah, we gotta ride this guy because our cap is poop and we're out of options.
But you know what? It's okay to admit he sucks. We've got a Holl in the lineup and I hope Dubas does something about it prior to the TDL.

Just to be clear, the narrative was that he is "not a trainwreck".
Having said that, the high danger chances for likely had very little to do with his contributions. He had some favourable O zone starts last year but I'm going to guess that not many fancy stats support him being anything more than a replacement level player (if that).

And the point is that we don’t have a replacement. That’s it. For $2M, he plays with a very good Dman against top lines and TOGETHER they get very good results. Maybe we’ll have a replacement soon but the refusal to acknowledge that he was in of the two guys on a very good shut down line is amazing. I don’t care if he just stood there because in just standing there they did well.

Your bullpoop argument about McGod's stats against the Leafs seems to indicate their effectiveness may be overstated.
Muzzin carries that pairing. The only reason why Holl is there is because Lilybust is waivers exempt and the Leafs don't have two pennies to scratch together to afford a legitimate 2RHD.
