For his sake, absolutely. I won't root against him. I just recall statements from the past such as from Voracek in the past in pre season. Stating he's playing great and he's ready. We'll see in the regular season.

Yeah, wake me when the games count. Jake will get his points. He always has. He's a skilled player and I've never denied that, but I think he makes bad decisions with the puck(low hockey IQ) and doesn't have the greatest work ethic for a supposed veteran leader. Those things combined with the 8 mil a year salary means that I'm glad he's gone. Could I look silly? Indeed I could, but I doubt it.

With all things considered, moving Laughton to center is the smart move in my opinion.
