Take a look at any Team Canada from 1984 onwards.

Yeah, no doubt Team Canada forwards are predominately Cs. It's interesting to think about -- do our junior leagues tend to naturally push the most talented youngsters into the C position? I'd imagine the answer has to be yes.
Again, I hadn't really considered this in depth before. It's an interesting topic though!

I can only assume she married into a Jewish family? Or did she go all Cat Stevens and inexplicably convert (and go all-in) to a different religion out of seemingly nowhere?

i speak from personal experience
all that i have is anecdotal evidence and some internet stuff
btw i tried the iron neck bs that rogan pimped for a few months
this may be great for rehab or pencil necks who’ve never worked the neck but it’s not effective for building strength beyond that
There’s no way to gauge your progress because it uses bunji cords(1) plus the posterior exercises aren’t ergonomic and will screw up your vertebrae if you do it wrong
my gym got rid of our neck machine so I’m back to good old neck isos

Make sure you include the neck in your workout routine
Your head sits on top of it
too much effort has been put into helmet technology and not enough into how a strong neck may reduce the risk and mitigate the effects and duration of tbi

I don't do do specific lifts for neck, it gets bigger just from me gritting my teeth as I blast out reps for Jesus.

I wonder if the smaller ice in NA tends to mean our Wingers do less then Euro's. Centres do it all here.
I'd also say that our apparent lack of depth on the wings is impacted by our overwhelming domination at C. We produce so many elite level C's that they have to eventually get bumped to the wing on Team Canada.

Contact sports will always equate to concussions but I think strengthening your neck muscles is probably a great way to help limit or reduce the injury.
The predominant issue with concussions is the impact ..especially high speed. Helmets are great at preventing superficial damage and impact wounds but the real brain injury is the brain smashing back and forth off the inside of your skull.

No, she didn’t marry into it. There was such hostility between her parents and apparently a lot of it was based on religion, she just went (frank) you both. I don’t know.

We have a lot of play making wingers who, potentially could play C (if they committed to the defensive part of the game)

Is should be pretty easy to prove it was fake. It would say where and when he got the shot. A quick double check would show one way or another — if the card in question is still around.

How did Mikky look last night? I think the last real debate is whether he or Bunting get that LW slot beside JT for the opener. - The Law
He looked decent and he scored
Ive noticed Bunting started strong but as they played against more NHL players he faded rather quickly production wise. Coupled with the fact Mikheyev is so much faster I think it will be him on the 2nd line.
Another problem with being tight against the cap. Tougher to develop someone like liljegren properly. I have been pleasantly surprised with how his defensive game ha# developed. Would be nice if he could be eased into the NHL

Second pairing which is a shut down pairing? No
Third pairing which just sucks up additional minutes with another rookie? No
They consider themselves a cup contender and they already have one rookie d man, let Liljegren play top line minutes in the AHL and give him a spot next year once Rielly is gone and replaced by Sandin (which tbh is what I’m expecting)

But so long as they’re being competitive the coaching staff simply wouldn’t want to do it.
However that being said if they have a bad season I hope they make moves to make room for him, I mean they can’t even afford a 7th d man right now with only about $80K of cap space free

True cup contenders are good enough to develop young players by giving the sporadic playing time throughout the season. He could have been in the mix with Dermott. If neither is good enough this year bring someone better in at the deadline.

As for 6 D men. Something has to give. There will certainly be several times this year when a 7th is needed and the injured player cannot go on LTIR
