Flyers shifted some cap spending from forwards to D
D like Ellis and Risto bring scoring
whether or not we've lost offense up front with our changes, I think we get more offense from the D this year |

Hopefully we shall see...cant tell till real games start and he starts facing real NHL players - hfc355
Yes but it looks like he is moving well and mostly on his angles. It's about getting ice time in game and in practice to get his rhythm back. With the shots he's seen, he's looked good IMO. |

Foerester has earned a spot over Frost..send Frost a message and send him back to Phantoms..Foerester has certainly out worked him... - hfc355
You’re insane if you think Foerester has earned a spot over Frost |

Yeah. I think Bill mentioned that too. If provy rebounds because he doesn't have to shoulder the entire load, he could have a solid O season as well. |

Scoring chances dead even, superb analysis - ClaudeFather
So if we play a game and the score is 14-13 then its a tie
damn racist math |

So the score is now 14-13, thought we were talking about chances. Saying the chances were dead even means nothing, watch the game. He has not done much of anything. |

Frost has shown absolutely nothing. More concerning is he was rarely even involved in play. Foerester at least showed effort. Not saying either player is bet
ter then the other or even NHL ready but think Frost has to learn he has to earn a spot not just be given one. |

There is really at this point one major area of concern heading into the regular season. The Flyers due to the injury to Hayes, don't have a legit 2C. Their options are Brassard, Laughton, Frost and Giroux. Not in any order. Or they make a player move. Time to put the team on the ice and see what happens.
Personally, I play Frost at center. If it turns out he looks overmatched or is floundering, then send him down and play Laughton at center. Flyers need to be developing young players and giving them playing time. - MJL
they have been developing players. Is playing time earned? or should it be given?
Frost got his spot by default as not many other options and the other options are not good.

He played 3 seasons in Vancouver before going to Pittsburgh. - MBFlyerfan
then he should spill the beans. Don't dance around it and let others speculate which leads to innocent people getting accused. People like him crack me up. You really want to help then start by naming names to get them out of the game.

Hopefully AV had a chat with Frost similar to Farabee when we sent Fabaree down to the AHL. Farabee played great with the Phantoms and quickly found his spot with the Flyers. |

Yea, he needs to be better. This center depth is pretty weak. Let’s hope we can manage. |

Show you one post? LOL. You were preaching it the entire off season. Fletcher addressed the teams moves and changed the culture. Over and over. You labeled them as a team that could contend. You didn't make the observation of needing a 40 goal scorer the entire off season. You harped and harped on the moves. It's all reactionary to some pre season games when they didn't even have their lineup in place. It's really simple. Lets put the team on the ice at this point and see what happens. You have concerns about Frost just as you did about Farabee. He's played 3 pre season games in a year. Give him a chance. - MJL
Nope, I never had concerns about Farabee, I just wanted to see more from him before I concluded what he was. And Frost just got sent down, so put another one in my column! |

Based on the moves the GM made and the expectations I cant imagine he waits/hopes frost comes around. Or for Hayes to get back. Can def see a trade happening.
