Aaron Dell on waivers.
Looks like Tokarski won the back up job - Stripes77
We are definitely gonna have the most goals against |

Do you settle on 50 cents on the dollar for a top 10 2021 pick in an Eichel trade? Or do you try to get a 90% return and a pick in 2022? - TheSabresTaco
would you entertain jack to san jose if karlsson came back with the sharks retaining $1-2M-per of his salary and building a trade around that? |

Looking at that crap defense he should have been the first overall pick? The Sabres only had one. - GilPerreault11
Sabres need a high end forward just as badly.
I’m not sure there is one on the roster currently or in the pipeline.
Although I think we have depth in spades for the first time in forever which is nice |

90 all the way and '2022 is a strong draft. Not to mention I'll wait and see if Rosen is a poor man's version of Eklund. - GilPerreault11
maybe he gets close. who knows.

sure. EK has more negative value than an injured Eichel imo. Think you could definitely squeeze them for Eklund Hertl and a 1st, and flip Hertl to the Wild for Boldy.

Even with $1.5 retained, 6 more years at $10m is beyond rough |

6 more years at $10m is beyond rough - Hank Balling
he's owed $56M in salary on the final 6 years because they paid out $9M in bonuses this year...
he has a nmc but i was just entertaining the thought based on a couple of things like the sharks would like to get out from under that hit and karlsson is a top-pair rhd who'd probably have a positive influence on fellow swede, dahlin...
at $2m retained by the sharks, the overall salary would be $44M, which is less than jack is owed and a cap-hit of $9.5M which is less than jack's...karlsson's age is a factor and he does have that extra year but he could be a useful cap-dump for buffalo |

We know that in three way trades, the trades are almost always worked out between the 3 GMs. You gotta think the Sabres would just volunteer to be a middle man.

Absorbing that is going to be a hell of an albatross. The sharks would absolutely make it worthwhile. I mean, Adams would force them to do as much.

I don't see that happening this close to the season.
They already need Pat Brisson, Gary Bettman, Dog The Bounty Hunter, and Scooby Doo to assist Adams in making a deal with one GM |

i think that might be the only way you pry away eklund and a first round pick ++ from them |

It times perfectly with Skinner. Just tank for those 6 years and then you're set.

Between Cozens, Mitts, Peterka, Quinn, Rosen, Poltapov, Kisakov, Huglen, and whatever we get in the Eichel deal we should be ok.
Already have guys like Asplund, Ruotsalinen, and Thompson that can continue to play in the bottom 6 till the aforementioned are ready.

Cozens, Peterka, Quinn, Power.
I would not be the least surprised to see Power join the Sabres after his college season to burn a year off the ELC. |

With a 6 year tank, he's too old. Everyone over 20 has to go.

What would they have in terms of futures, that makes it worth the Sabres while, and also doesn't put the Sharks at risk of wasting Eichel?
They don't have it |

none of those guys are gonna be making huge money...mitts included...
cozens has two more years on his rookie deal, peterka and quinn will start theirs this year and power next year...which takes us to year four
just playing around |

maybe...but then again, if dahlin doesn't feel comfortable in the sabres organization, they probably won't be paying him in 3-4 more years which is the time those two will be coming off of their entry-level deals |
