i don't know...it would seem as if they need eakins' $2.25m more than caligula's 750k - Michael Pachla
Sabres don't need Eakin's celery! They're over by 3.5M, and Eakin's demotion keeps about 1.2 on the cap anyway.

Least of the teams worries.
Would you buy a house without a home inspection or without title insurance ?
Adams is trying to trade Eichel like he were selling a used car.
And yet we wonder why we’re still sitting here with our peckers in our hands - Pegullaville
my thinking is that they'd only give out the info to teams with what they consider serious offers...i'd do the same |

not nearly even close to enough - SabresFaninIndiana
To be clear, I was not remotely suggesting that was all to the trade.
It's nothing more than a fun idea on a condition to add based on Eichel's condition and the surgery he needs. |

Conversely, if you are a team legitimately interested in trading for Eichel, how can you make what Adams would consider a serious offer without seeing the medical details on Eichel, so you can know if you will allow Eichel to have his preferred surgery? |

The medical details or medical records issue is being overblown.
The issue has been the reluctance of the Sabres to absolve 100% responsibility if the surgery doesn’t go well.
It’s why the ball is moving now, the Sabres, Brisson and the NHL are working to come to a compromise. It’s called an ADR- Alternative Dispute Resolution |

But teams are not putting out serious offers if they don’t know what they are getting themselves into…
There has to be a give and take on both ends here |

you'd take the first out too I'd assume. That's a lot of real estate Vegas has to give up. I just don't think they do it without the pick. - TheSabresTaco
I appreciate the effort in looking at this in a multi-dimensional manner.
That said, the trade components all don't make sense to me I'd prefer other players/prospects from VGK...
• As 36 said, much rather have Korczac (RD) .. put him in, take out Rondbjerg (LW) and hopefully he can become Dahlin's or Power's partner.
• take out Elvenes & McNabb, replace with Theodore
• not giving any Draft picks back
Primary** Trade Components:
Krebs (*$0), Korczak (*$0), Smith ($5.0), Theodore ($5.2), Tuch ($4.75)
For
Eichel ($10.0), Olofsson ($3.0m), Tage/Hinostroza/Bjork(~$1.3)
* Not currently included on CapFriendly roster.
** fill in the blanks with prospects in pipeline to balance contracts as necessary. |

Sabres are over the cap floor by half a mil. Vegas is over the ceiling by 4M. Sabres getting 1 prospect for Eichel is a failure.
Sabres now have 25 players on their roster, 26 once Tuch is ready. You need more trades with this proposal. - TheSabresTaco
I count 4 forwards (Eakin, Hayden, Caggiula, Jonsson-Fjallby) of the 14 currently on CapFriendly, not including Ruotsalainen, that could be waived and nobody would care.
Plenty of space for the players suggested in that trade. |

Lol why does he have to explain anything to the fans?
Who cares if he did or didn’t share Eichels records
If a team was serious. He would give them up.
You can’t just free wheel a players medical records out in the open. Teams like Tampa could request them just for inside info. - Sabretooth9
lol.
What inside info are they gona get from his records.
St Louis openly sent Taresenkos medicals to all teams. |

I mean I like your offer better, but I think McCrimmon hangs the (frank) up on you. I took reasonableness into consideration as well.

The same 'more' that allowed the Sabres to come to the decision that they demand fusion while Eichel demands replacement?
That detail seems incredibly important and vital to a team trading for Eichel. |

Nah that "Propriitary information"
Member how I said people come to the defense of the Sabres, regardless.
