I want to hear a legitimate explanation from Adams why the medicals were not shared sooner. My guess is that they believed the situation was too fluid and didn't feel comfortable sharing them because details could change weekly. But that's my only defense of the action. - TheSabresTaco
Lol why does he have to explain anything to the fans?
Who cares if he did or didn’t share Eichels records
If a team was serious. He would give them up.
You can’t just free wheel a players medical records out in the open. Teams like Tampa could request them just for inside info.
Sabres are over the cap floor by half a mil. Vegas is over the ceiling by 4M. Sabres getting 1 prospect for Eichel is a failure.
Sabres now have 25 players on their roster, 26 once Tuch is ready. You need more trades with this proposal. - TheSabresTaco
sabres projected cap hit with jack is $63.9...take away his 10m and it's 53.9 add tuch (4.75 and patrick 1.2) and they're at 59.85 or roughly $400k below the floor
knights are at about $86.7m right now...take out patrick and they're at 85.5 with a cap-ceiling of 81.5...jack on ltir means they'll be able to spend up to 91.5 putting them $6m below that
The rostering, cap, uppers, lowers and reasonableness is all there. If you want to argue that they should get Samuelsson/Peterka, I'd listen. - TheSabresTaco

First of all, he's (KA) partially responsible for extending this months beyond necessary. Eichel is the team's franchise player and ex captain and the fans deserve to know why his situation has dragged on forever, and the non-confidential details behind it.
Second of all, everyone cares. It matters regarding his trade value. it matters a lot. Clearly, as reported upon by several MSM insiders.
Third of all, no poop, you can't just throw medical records around. Both parties need to agree. We all know that. My question is, did both parties agree prior to last week? We don't actually know that. We don't know if the Sabres declined and Eichel was demanding for them to be released.
I don't blame the Sabres for initially saying we'll give up the records to serious suitors, and what probably happened was that teams said they wouldn't get serious without the records. So stalemates occurred.

(i thinks?) - Michael Pachla
add Krebs too.
And what happens when Eichel is ready to enter the lineup?
So FYI, the Sabres and other negotiating teams are working with the NHL and NHLPA on having a plan to share responsibility if the surgery goes wrong and Eichel is unable to play again.
The issue is deeper than compensation it also has to do with insurance
I'd love to see the full stats once this season ends. Roberts was a pro bowler. Sad he had to get stomped on the Texans. He is with the Texans right - TheSabresTaco
mckenzie is putting up pretty much the same average per kick and punt this year as roberts did the last 2 years as a bill
