Bulldog said yesterday that both he and his buddy waited a month to get a response about season tickets after filling out the paperwork. Nobody seems to know wtf is going on over there
- Hank Balling

They transitioned to a 3rd party vendor I believe to handle their ticket office, it is clearly not working out.

The Pegulas are trying to go the cheaper route and shockingly (sarcasm) it's not working out

Rumors have had them sniffing around since last offseason. There should be some sort of framework, some players in the deal agreed upon by now.

Edit: But if they consummate the deal they pay more than a West team because they are in the East

- GilPerreault11

There's been a few teams like I have mentioned before but most are in a wait ands see mode and some are just plain cheap. The Ducks are are one of those, the Flames interest stated back months ago when the Sabres were sniffing around Monahan. The Knights seem to think Krebs is the next Gretzky and the Rangers want him but won't give up to get him and that's ok with Adams because he doesn't care, he will wait. The Yotes have interest still also, I heard the Pens have some small interest also but that would take a hell of a lot of moving to make that work.

So, I was with a good friend today that lives inside that "Clarence circle" , and that always has Sabres past and present at his home.

I heard some disturbing things today and I'll just keep this to two Sabres, Jack and Samson.

Jack..... let's just say that young man needs out of Buffalo and is need of a scenery change.
This person's exact words to me, "Jack needs to get his poop together, quickly".
I can also guarantee you from this conversation that Jack has played his last game as a Buffalo Sabre.
I was also told a story about Jack being asked to show up at small event with what he thought was only going to have a few fans/kids there.
Apparently Jack arrived, seen that there were a few more kids than he thought - was told was going to be there and he lost it.
Saying so that these kids that are wearing his jersey, curves on their sticks just like Jack's, he says (frank) this!
'I didn't sign up for this, I'm outta here' and he left.
I can tell you a bunch more personal stories but I'll leave it there with Jack.
I pray for that young man because he needs help.

Samson?
I knew that I liked Samson for a good reason.
From what I was told, Samson was ONE OF THE FEW that demanded accountability from his teammates, but he never got it.
He got fed up.
That's a big reason why he wasn't going to re-sign here.
There was no accountability inside that room.
He gave his all when most only gave some.
I'll leave names out of this but I was told that he would get pissed at some of his teammates because instead of getting rest or sleeping because they had a game the next day?
Many of them would be up until 3-4 o'clock in the morning playing Call of Duty.
That would piss Samson off to no end.

That's a big reason why Samson was never going to re-sign here.

Let me sum this up.
That dressing room, this franchise is a literal DISASTER!!
There is or there wasn't any accountability ever for these players.

I just thought I'd share a little bit of info.
I won't get into any more detail than I have but if I have any juicy stuff where I can share info without damaging anyone or giving away my source, I'll come and share it.

The Rangers have talked to the Sabres in the last few days again regarding Eichel.

Thank you for the info. If I am reading between the lines you probably withheld a lot more information that would have been personal - well done on that front.

I cannot wait to read the reaction about a certain part of what was shared.

I could get into some very fine detail but I won't.

Let's just say that this franchise was in a very dark place.
Jack needs to get out of here.
Samson wanted out of here because his teammates pretty much didn't care and they were allowed to get away with that attitude on and off the ice
I'm happy for Sam, he deserved better.
He gave his all on the nights that he himself wasn't FED UP.

When there is news pertinent to this team that some may want to know, I'll come back and share it without damaging anyone.

I think the bigger question is, how many of these guys are still around?

So Jack and Samson suck as leaders, then? 😉 Can't blame it all on everybody else all the time.

Because that (supposed) sh!t would never have gone down in a Mark Messier, Sidney Crosby or Scott Stevens-led room.

We've all heard the stories about Mitts. He seems to have gotten his chit together. Who else? I'm genuinely curious if any of them are still here.

And will Donnie / Adams get the room right. accountability starts at the top (expect for the pegs)…

Samson tried to get his teammates to do the right thing.
He often tore them new bumholes, it just didn't work
They were more interested in having fun than making the team better.
The team came last.

And no, I'm not giving names.
Not fair to my friend and not fair to the players.

My thoughts too. Have they ridded themselves of those players? Has anyone they brought in done so to address that? I suspect Donnie meatballs is observant and aware. Hopefully Kevyn is too. Anyhow, thanks 50 for the info!

Doesn't really matter.

That "leadership" group is gone now. Jack, Sam, Risto, etc. Time to forge a new group.

Oh, he does.
Donnie is the right man at the right time for this gig.
Kevyn has also dug deep into making sure that any of that nonsense does not take place again moving forward.
He's talked with Beane often getting pointers.

Yup, their main focus (the higher ups) is ticket sales at the moment.
