Rumors have had them sniffing around since last offseason. There should be some sort of framework, some players in the deal agreed upon by now.

Honestly I believe the problem with the Rasmus dahlin is his Defence partner Henri jokiharju. It's basically a lesser talented version of himself. Both guys are trying to crash in 2 help us offensively which creates no one is back for the inevitable mistake. 2 21 year old shouldn't be playing first line minutes when they play the exact same game. I think Miller would be a better partner and Henry can play with butcher. I will say I'm impressed the Sabres actually did something I like by keeping Dustin tokarski and waving Dell. I'm not the biggest fan of any of our top three veteran guys but Dustin clearly played his ass off in the preseason and deserved to stay with the big Club. Although I like the spirit of picking a guy off of waivers I believe left-wing was the last position that we actually needed. I've been hoping for a center a goalie or a right shot defenseman. Not sure how it's going to play out but it was almost as if they were announcing Jay Jay would be going to Rochester since they would have to waive the new guy axle themselves to send him to Rochester. It's a shame axle was unable to play last night where they could have properly evaluated him with the big team so I guess we're going to have to go by one single game on Saturday performance.
