It's not aging very well. I don't believe it begins and ends with the Kesler and Sestito stories either.

What a bonehead move by the Flames to even challenge the goal. I’m enjoying watching that team implode.

Uh, sure. Coaches challenges in preseason really do indicate the direction of a team... dumb as it was.

Agreed. They need to be thrown into the fire a little here. Can't have them start the season too cold.

It's the old school mentality, players, or just workers in general, during the 70's/80's/90's/2000's were treated as things...a "means to an end". Society is changing in that respect, which is a good thing. The "suck it up" mentality needs to be eradicated from all physical sports people watch for entertainment.

Only been on the ice once, with no actual practice. They’ll get two pre season games.

Starting to think Miller at center is going to be a real thing to start the season

With Sutter and pettersson out, I don't think green had much choice for preseason.

Every detail is important. If you ignore the details where are we as a (hockey) society, especially when players are rewarded for taking care of the little details?

Green says after game one , we will go with a more experienced roster for more of the preseasons games . We wont do the same as we have done in the past so our team will be running on all cylinders when the season starts. Does this look like a vet heavy lineup?

Green makes it really hard to like him.

Can’t really blame him this year. Two best players hold out, fourth line injured, trash heap of D available to him. Green is doing his best.

What a garbage line up this far into the pre season. Still not looking at anything different from last season on the Horvat line. Disappointing....

Don't really think Dries and Focht are going to make the team this year and Garland and Miller might.

He's full of poop.

Top 6 will be the same with the exception of Miller possibly being the full time center on the top line.

My bet is Garland who was brought in to shore the top 6 will be in the bottom 6.

You have to be pretty narrow minded not to try Pearson somewhere else for a couple of games and try another offensive player on Bo's wing.

Green's preseasons are garbage. Maybe it's because he isn't that far removed from being a AHL coach that he keeps plugging them in until the end.

You've gotta understand his situation though, surely, as a long standing Canucks fan who's gone through years upon years of losing, you become sour. This is just what McDavid is experiencing, the years upon years of losing is just making him sour
- LeftCoaster

That get to the best of us.
Not sure what he expects to happen when he drives to the net. Maybe he should stop that as he's the one starting the dangerous play. We're used to the Oilers crying and whining all the time, it's just a fact of hockey..
