Comparing the Sabres to an illness seems a bit harsh...but I can see where you're coming from.
They could easily cure their ways with an infusion of competence from the front-office, but they have preferred to ignore the issues and are on the verge of causing permanent brain damage and killing off the fan base.

Sisyphus is a great analogy. Having to push the giant boulder up the hill not only crushes you physically, it also destroys your hope. Even small successes can help relieve the overwhelming weight of the tedious pattern of always being reminded of your perpetual inadequacy.

I think the Sabres are on the right track. They have a boatload of picks and prospects coming. The next couple of years will produce some outstanding young players.

Young teams don't need to win. But, they need to be hard to play against. They need to be in the game in the third period. Without goaltending you risk crushing the spirit of the very guys you are trying to grow.

Depends on your RB depth, but that's tough. Fant is a stud in the making imo. But both RBs, you'd have to be loaded.

Fant is great, I don’t think I’d do that trade though.

I picked up Schultz in my other league to back-up Kittle. He's got some good fantasy value if you dont want to give up a RB
