They were (frank)ing those up to. Colorado for a while was reporting any death as a COVID death if the person had COVID, not if it was a result of COVID, so yeah, there was nuance there either. Who knows if it's been changed and corrected.

I feel so much of this has become like reading reviews on Amazon. You could have 1,000 good reviews, but you see one bad one and think the product is poop, and think those other 1,000 must have been paid to leave good reviews.

I'm no expert in medical science, so I defer to the real experts. Science results are based largely on a consensus of evidence, so no matter what you'll have detractors. Realizing this and realizing I know about as much as anyone else here regarding virology or any other science pertaining to viruses and vaccines, I'm going to listen to the consensus of the experts.

To this day you have people fighting to end most vaccines we receive as babies even though it's clear they work and are safe, but some think there are still dangers.

Will there be financial incentive for these people? Sure. Will there be political motivations? Sure., but that doesn't always mean they're wrong because there is a faction of these motivations. The results speak for themselves.

Honest question for everyone who doesn't trust the Vax. Do you not have a family doctor you trust that you can talk to?
- Thorny87

And if my doctor says (frank) the vaccines and the pharmaceutical companies are full of poop?

Also, coming in with broken arms and leaving with a positive covid test? I'm sure that happens, but do you REALLY think that's common enough to reach the high thousands to skew the numbers? That's silly.

So most flu stats historically are based on symptoms reporting and not tests, so people bring up "well what happened to all the flus and flu deaths?" I think its very possible that a chunk of covid deaths could of been flu but having said that the 2018/2019 flu season in USA had around 32k flu related deaths, that's right related, most people dont die of just the flu...they're either really old, infant or have underlying issues. Since covid hit 2020/2021 the USA has over 700k covid related deaths. So even if we take the average amount of flu deaths out of it we're still over 600k.

Its true, most people will not die if they get covid but the vast majority the ones who died with underlying issues wouldn't of died when they did had they not contracted covid....then there's the long covid and lingering effect for some...

I have buddies who contracted it and didnt feel like they caught anything. I have another buddy who's 37, took real good care of himself and jogged 25 miles a week. He didn't believe it was even real, a big hoax. He contracted it and had 9 weeks of hell including 6 nights in hospital. 8 months later he's still winded going up a flight of stairs. One of my son's coach's daughters, 24 years old, caught it a year and a half ago and still cant taste or smell anything and is too winded for sports still. I dont want anything to do with any of that.

I'm not anti-vax, I think in large the vaccines are good, I just don't feel the need to take it as a 35 year old healthy individual. I don't feel at risk for COVID, my entire circle of friends/family/coworkers has either had it or has been vax'd or both. You want the vax? Get it. I just don't feel the need to get it for cold that has like a 99% survival rate.

At least you will have based your information form an actual professional not some idiots hocking their bullpoop narratives on the internet.

Still, I would listen to specialists in this field over the average family practitioner. If you were having issues with your digestion, would you ask a Podiatrist or a Gastroenterologist?

Yeah it's crazy how it hits some people and doesn't hit others. It really sucks that it was created in a lab and was likely funded by our government.

Honest question.. do you find it weird that all the Democrats said they weren't going to take "Trump's" vaccine? Then when Biden got elected they all flipped and said don't listen to the Republicans regarding the vaccines? Just bizarre that both parties were so "anti-vax" depending on who was in power.

They never said they weren't going to take Trump's vaccine. Not sure where you're getting that malarky from. Blue states were begging for things to move faster.

Trump failed miserably in organizing the roll out.

Trump funneled a lot of money towards these and the fast track of them being developed. He is also fully vaxxed and tells people at rallies to get it as well.

The issue was the roll-out itself. The vaccines were sitting there and not being shipped out. There was no roll-out plan.

She also says she'd only listen to the professionals, so that makes both her and Trump who did just that.
