Umm, go ahead and make a case on how cito activively held them back from further success.
They won 2 world series.

Unless you are referring to his 2nd stint?

Otherwise, youre full of crap

- Fakepartofme

For me, Cito was a terrific coach for those two championship teams. Both veteran teams loaded with HOF players. Didn't require an uber strategist or a coach that was high strung such as Billy Martin. He just let his veterans play to their abilities. Could others have done it - maybe. Checking MLB history only 14 teams have won back to back series in MLB. It was a fantastic accomplishment, and the first time it had been done since 77-78 Yankees.

Hopefully choking another playoff series humbles them. Play playoff from Game 1 of the regular season, or enjoy an early exit. Again.

No kidding. Takes pleasure in being an unpleasant bag of crap, adding nothing of value to this blog.

He didn’t have an incredibly talented roster all season.

No, I don’t have proof of anything other than a team with a poopty rotation and pen, that lost Springer, that didn’t have a home was in it till the final out of the season. Every manager makes mistakes over 162. He has faults and made mistakes. A couple would have put them in. A couple fewer mistakes from Boone or Cora would have made it a runaway.

You don’t fire a manager who wins 91 games unless they were expected to win over 100. This team wasn’t

- Canada Cup

91 wins would have won the second wildcard in the National League or the NL East Division outright. Jays had a good season. Bullpen issues gassed many potential wins. The run differential of +183 was 5th best in the majors. Firing Montoya on a team where at least 6 key players had their best ever seasons makes no sense.

It’s more like 30-40 who post semi-regularly.

5 of them HATE me.

The rest get that although I’m based, I’m not here to (frank) poop up.

But those 5, man… they’re disturbed.

What did I lose exactly?

You add nothing of value to this blog. You are very easy to predict. You are sadly mistaken if you think there are only seven on here that believe this blog would be better off without you.

I used an olive oil rub on a turkey and the skin got really crispy and crunchy like pork rinds. It was tasty.

Sounds great Zezel, too bad you're not a wine drinker, I could make a couple of recommendations to go with that turkey.

Wife does a roast whole chicken...or turkey on TGiving....with butter rubbed all over the skin and garlic salt and pepper, every time it's ridiculous. Also the butter and GS/P melts down in the ban for the BEST gravy.

Yum. (hate being high and thinking about something I really want right now but can't have )

I run my smoker fairly regularly and interestingly enough, I have never done a turkey. I heard it comes out like ham and I like turkey more than ham, so that might explain why I haven’t. Maybe I’ll try a small one this year.

I do that with prime rib. Never really done anything as far as a rub on the turkey. Usually just line is with bacon to help keep moist.

Will try the rubs on the next couple….
