At least when your comically bad you have something to look forward to and you increase your odds of drafting a Super star.

They're trying to do it right this time they had Conversations about having power this year And they ultimately decided that it wasn't the right environment for him

Right now it looks like darkness but with the next 2 drafts Plus last year And the assets you get from Jack should set this team Up for a very bright future

They actually tired pretty hard like legit they tried for 2 players Sharks actually ask for a first rounder next year and that's what stopped the conversation lol

If only we could have built around someone like him.

Did the overhaul almost begin last year with Jack getting traded last offseason and then Sam getting dealt? Sam would have brought in a larger haul. They should have looked away from Hall and begun the rebuild then.

From my understanding they were gonna move on from Sam and sign hall to a long term deal But they lost both lol.

And sam took it personally and felt insulted When Buffalo tried resigning him this summer

Sam Ventura is the move that gives me some hope. If he can see through VO and avoid a mistake on an extension, that would help a ton. Prop him up and move him at the deadline. I'd be thrilled.

They basically made the move for Jack they wanted to go all in for him instead of trading him and make things work

I like VO a lot His value in the playoffs would be tremendous with a powerplay in OT or just a regular game playoff game .
