that's totally on jack's camp because of hippa...unless the team withheld that info after jack's camp agreed to release it - Michael Pachla
right. there could be reasons for both parties to want to hide or provide the records.

I'd like to think there was a reason why. Not a sarcastic or cynical reason why, but an actual one. That's probably important to know before we all assume. - TheSabresTaco

Doubt it. Just by sheer luck, they won't have a losing streak of 26 games (streak it would take to match the 18 gamer over a full 82 season) and it's not like the other games last year buoyed more wins in the column. A slight uptick is almost a guarantee - SDSabre
Is there a large difference from 55-60 point bad to 70 point bad if it still a league worst finish again? |

Its not though.
The Sabres previously refused to give the medicals until they received an offer that they felt was close, shockingly enough, they didn't get those offers. |

Do we have verifiable information that Jack told the team to share the medical information but the team refused? Honestly curious.

I’m going to put us at 73 points. Slight uptick from last year. I think we will have a couple of positive stretches out of this team - lulags
That's 19 points over 82 games though, a 35% improvement.
I would call that more than a slight uptick.

Honestly, we know they're going to be bad. If a lot of loses are hard fought, close games, but they fall just short that's an improvement. A lot of the "close" losses they have had over the last 2 years weren't close at all. A team would get up 2/3 goals pretty quickly and coast. Buf would close the lead with a late goal, Miller style, and make it a one goal game. So improvement can come from that, but also a higher point total. And the statement was W/L be the same not where Buf will finish. If you meant where Buf will finish, then say that. I responded to W/L being the same. 55 points to 70 is somewhere around 6/7 wins. I'd call that substantial, you don't have to. |

Agreed on the math, but like I said, just by sheer luck, and 23 game slide won't happen. Take that down to the mean, and it's not 35% across the board. Just sayin.. |

My understanding was that he went public with the procedure he desired, not his medical records, which specifically show exactly what's wrong, where and why. I think this is two different scenarios. Because if it was the same, the Sabres wouldn't even need to release his medicals in the first place.

Show me where I EVER said Quinn was ready. Please. You can't. I've even said he wasn't ready numerous times.
Your problem is you think you're the smartest guy in the room with obvious clairvoyance, so you're able to bury guys 2 games into a (frank)ing preseason schedule.
But continue to kick the organization while they're down because it makes you feel good. |

This article claims that the Rags didn't receive the records. It doesn't say whether the Sabres were allowed to share those records.

fair enough...do we know if anyone in the media asked kagm, a.) whether jack allowed a release of his medical records and/or b.) if the sabres were asked by any teams to release them? |

I asked a question.
You consider another last place league finish a substantial improvement if they get another 7 wins compared to last season's pace.
I certainly won't consider another last place finish some kind of substantial improvement. |

Or if the Rangers said that their offer was the highest they would go, the only one that was released, no matter what his records looked like, and KA rightfully told Drury to go pound sand. Kravtzov, Jones, Georgiev, and a couple picks doesn't help at all, no matter how you slice it. So why bother. |

You lose Eichel, Reinhart, and Risto and win 6/7 more games (pace) then the prior season. I call that improvement, especially if the losses are of the more competitive variety. And again, you're very first statement was W/L won't improve. 6/7 more wins then losses is an improvement, no? |
