How was it?

Our defense still doesn't hit or close the gap...like ever.

Rielly looked typical...so bad at D or any kinda physical play, really bad gap control.

Marner looked good, was buzzing around and took a few shots, at least no rust.

Kase looked good.

Menell, a new defense from the Wild?, look interesting.

Dermott, has a flash of something good and then sucks for the rest of the game.

Ritchie, looked good, and good with Marner. He had a small tilt with Chiarot. Hope Ritchie smashes his face at least one more time for real this season.

3ga for Campbell....a couple on the PP.

1ga for Mrazek but two really nice glove saves.

5th Habs goal was an EN.

Rest was pretty meh.

I was considering keeping Campbell in my keeper pool, it's a 14 team league... Having a couple reliable goaltenders is tough to do. I have Hellebyuck, figured him and Campbell might make a damn good combo.

If Campbell comes out soft though I can see him losing starts to Mrazek in a hurry.

I don’t think Ritchie did much if anything. He was in position to take a couple of nice passes from Marner. Didn’t do much work on the boards. The fight was dumb.

Kase was good. Gusev was invisible. Simmonds did nothing. Rielly was ok. Marner created a lot and was best guy out there for Keafs. Mik skated around and was effective. Habs played a full NHL line and they kind of dominated. I liked Kampf

As a team, they seem more disjointed tonight. But some guys stood out more than others. I guess I should have said where they play rather than making team and yeah, a couple of top 6 spots up for grabs. IMO, Ritchie didn’t do anything to solidify a spot tonight. He didn’t create room, do anything on the boards, etc. Kase created opportunities. Bunting was impressive last game. I’m so so about Kerfoot in top 6.
