I hope we at least score some goals this year. I'm very skeptical they actually do it with any consistency

I don't regret my support of the tank in 2014. The team was in a much different position as they are today. They were bare bones as far as future talent. It was scorched earth and Darcy and Murray wasted so many picks. At least Botterill and Adams were able to draft so far. But having a roster full of useless veterans in 2014, there was almost no reason to win. And to come away with a generational center to build around I think was the right goal for that team. Today, while it would be phenomenal to have Wright and/or Bedard, I certainly won't root for outright failure.

Yeah, I know because tanking over the last 8 years has worked out so great for us...

If the kids play an up tempo game and improve through the year, and if they end up in last, I am fine with it. But tanking just for the sake of tanking I am not down with anymore. Fix it some other way.

2014 was the right thing to do. The building of the team from that point was an unmitigated disaster.

Well what this fan is hoping for is something Akin to what Ottawa did last year. I will never root for them to lose but maybe just a little bit less as good as Ottawa LOL. Falling to the 10th overall draft selection won't do this team any good. Well it will but I'd much rather be in the top 4. Perfect example is you saying how all our centers have warts and they were all drafted 7th or 8th overall

Aside from Mac Jones, gotta envy the rookie QB’s to an extent.

Urban Meyer and Matt Nagy gonna ruin whatever potential Lawrence or Fields has before it begins.

i was told there's nothing wrong with tanking and that it works, except when it doesn't...because of crappy management...but, then again, this stench permeating the culture isn't tangible and therefore doesn't' exist so tanking works...

Eichel getting the operation he requested would be in the negatives list. Him getting anything he wants, at this point, is counterproductive. He can sit for years or get fusion.
