It's getting hard to pick the low, but I'll still go with locker cleanout day. - Lunaion
This is not a slight on him personally but hiring Kevyn Adams, a completely unqualified candidate, to be the GM in the most crucial offseason in recent team history, and having him put together a last place team is bottom |

if donnie opens it up on offense, does that change anything?
I mean this team should be much faster then the teams in years past and I assume they are going to let dahlin open it up this fall |

Yeah I was watching clips earlier of Dahlin. He barely ever was allowed to carry the puck even to the tops of the circles under Ralph's watch, huh?
Hopefully it's not too late to correct that and let him roam with his offensive instincts again. |

I took tennis lessons one summer when I was a kid with a guy who totally changed my swing into this big looping stroke. Changed basically everything about my timing and hitting. At the end of the summer, someone pointed out to me that it not only looked ridiculous, it was comically ineffective. I changed back and was totally fine.
I guess what I'm saying is that his time under Krueger was comically ineffective and a waste of time but it should be reversible |

I sure hope so. That's a lot of ugly habits to have to break in a short period of time. |

Donnie already corrected it. Dahlin was a totally different player the last 20 games or so. |

Had his soul been crushed with Krueger right off the hop I would be more concerned, but he showed what he could do under the "anything goes" attitude of Housley. He'll figure it out |

Has to. Too much raw talent not to. If he doesn't, it's totally us. |

I've been watching it... And I don't even know why.
It's probably because of Dove and Kory Anders |

Would you swap out Mack for Breida if given the choice? |

Buffalo isn't going to lose and will get the package they want ( so water is wet)
Right now they're focusing on the prospects that are going to replace Jack in this year's draft with the tank plan. - gerbe75pts
Any ideas on return/teams? Thanks Gerbs |

Apples and Oranges though
Dahlin is a #1 overall pick, now face of the franchise and they (according to Gerbe) offered him top 5-7 D man money and he said nah
That's a new low - sbroads24
Not necessarily. I am sure Toronto didn't want Matthews on a 5 year deal.

Getting a top 2 pick 2 years straight is going to tough and miserable for us. But hey whats another 2 years - DirtyDan
Haven't the rules on this changed? Since the lottery picks are only the top two now no team can pick in the lottery two years in a row I thought. |
