If they lose correct but they want the next best player after him they have the big 3 ranked 1wright - 2/3 - same tear .. - gerbe75pts
Makes sense to me.
So far so good, we’ll see if they choose the right guy though 😝 |

"They're all in to tank the next 2 years for Wright and Michcov"
"Dahlin only signed short term to see if they get their act together"
Both of these have a slim chance of happening at the same time.
Also: Ballerrrrr - joevthree
You're correct year 3 would be win at all costs |

Oh btw Dahlin rejected a long term deal that would have payed him a little more then heiskanen
So basically it's up to Buffalo to get their act together
Sorry for that depressing news - gerbe75pts
They offered him more than 8.4 mil per?

Wow they learned they have to lose with dignity. It's not just you doing some growing up - DirtyDan
And not practically advertise the tank everyday by GMTM. Trading any goalie who has a good stretch. Get 40-year-old goalies and borderline minor league goalies to start with and let them roll.

Oh no I understand that, it’s just even if you finish last you still have pretty low odds of Wright.
Of course Buffalo wins the lottery in the year it was better to pick 7th - Pegullaville
We didn't win the lottery. We were dog sh!t. We deserved that pick.
Enough with the lottery bs. Enough with that bald fvck Bill Daley. Draft should be like NFL's. Worst team gets 1OA

Get the worst possible tandem from the start and they'll forget all about it
Save for Arizonas goalies |

Yes it was almost 9 .
He probably wants to see how things go before wasting his good years here |

At least they tried.
I’m pretty surprised Dahlin turned that down but it makes sense if he’s not sure he wants to be a Sabre long term |

Alexander Perevalov with the Panthers pick to continue the run on Russians, maybe they can get him at the top of the second round like they did with Poltapov. |

Still doesn’t explain walking right into arbitration with UFA the following year but I’m really trying my best to be nice about KAGM today.

I might have taken the almost 9 and long term deal and if the Sabres don't turn it around in 3 years demand a trade and get out. His defensive ability has not been stellar at all and even his offensive play which is nice is not worth almost 9 and long term. |

We’re supposed to be happy that our star players don’t want to commit long term I guess? |

I would have been ecstatic if the great Jeff Skinner went short-term or in hindsight not at all. So, it happens.

In a way it's a positive thing...the organization will have to change for the better, and once they do (IF they do) it will be reflected in how players want to be here and sign here. Like many have said, Donny Granato might just be the perfect guy behind the bench in order to change the team culture around. |

Apples and Oranges though
Dahlin is a #1 overall pick, now face of the franchise and they (according to Gerbe) offered him top 5-7 D man money and he said nah
That's a new low |

It's getting hard to pick the low, but I'll still go with locker cleanout day.
