It appears as most think the Sabres (frank)ed up the Eichel situation.
Vogl does as well.
But ya know Friedman and such.
Why just not let teams see the medical.
Blues have any team they wanted the medicals on Taresenko.
Sabres again effing up. - ImThatGuy
So what should they have done differently?
I think the only real mistake was - if they knew that this was going south - they should have traded him last offseason.
As for the current situation, I don't blame them one bit for holding on to him until they get what they want.
or (for mater) we can lay out the raw data over ten full seasons:
275-377-95 worst in the nhl
.432 win percentage worst in the nhl
2.38 gf/game worst in the nhl
3.05 ga/game worst in the nhl
10 consecutive seasons outside of the playoffs ties nhl futility record
4 last place finishes
one vp of hockey ops, gone after a few months
4 general mangers
7 head coaches
epik tank failure as one tank pick is gone while the other is on his way out - Michael Pachla

Honestly, I don't think anything happens until one surgery or another is performed. Can show medical all they want, the result of the surgery is the deal maker/breaker.

Probably correct.
I would also assume most teams have figured it out with pretty good degree of accuracy.
That said, I still wonder if the Medical Dtsff on other teams might feel more comfortable with Replacement Surgery if they had the specific details at their disposal.

KA could also just be getting poop offers (Like Kravtzov as a main piece poop) so might be saying why bother. A team can always say here is a good offer, pending we see the details and it's not worse then it is. I just don't see a reason to offer that up if teams are throwing poop at you.
