Green named Klimovich as someone who stood out. Called him big and skilled.

So you nahsayers still think he should go to junior

Yes, just like when the Oilers finally sent Draisitle to the Rockets, player came back a beast. There's lots of time for him to play for the Canucks.

If his showing in camp transfers over to pre season and he plays well and looks like he belongs, he will be in Abbotsford for sure. I always felt that that would be where he ends up and the talk about junior is to temper fan expectations. Also there is very little defense played in the QMJHL, so he would develop terrible habits. Cull can work with him in Abby, and he could be looking at a callup late in the season. His release is better than advertised, it's NHL level for sure. He's also more creative than I thought, no fear to try a move!

To add to my previous point I would be more in favour of him going to Junior if it was the WHL which has more focus on Defense for sure than the Q, but I highly doubt he gets traded to a WHL team from Quebec.

We are thinking what's better for his career and the Canucks long term. You are just wanting to be right.

When you were on your way to playing pro hockey was cigarettes prevalent amongst players?
- bloatedmosquito

No, but some of them definitely smoked.

The Dub is a great development league for sure. I'm not familiar how players can transfer between leagues in major junior but I do know the Oilers wouldn't send Drai back to junior until he was traded to the Rockets. Maybe the Canucks could have some say in where he plays?

BS comp! They would have sent him to AHL if they could and that's the bottom line for Klimovich not the Q.

I have seen this rumor a lot in the last few days

I guess he’s practicing with U Mich and the guys are clowning around. Imaging three 8 x $8m guys, plus Boeser, Horvat Miller, Hog, Pod in three years. Better hope the cap is $120m

You keep saying the 4rth line on the Canucks... exactly what he needs to hone his skill set...4 and a half minutes a game with dump and chase line mates. Brilliant... not.

I’d be down. Beat it Pouty. Add tkachuk, Pods and one day Klimy? That’s a big and mean roster. Just need Miller to play Center full time
