Hi!

I'm back in Abbotsford, where scrimmage is on.

I'm live-tweeting a bit, if you'd care to follow...

If Pouty and QH want $10m and Brady wants $8m would you trade either Pouty or QH for Brady? I think I’d do a trade that involved QH for BT but not Pouty.

Brady does bring a power forward game that the Canucks definitely need. I sure as hell like him better than his brother.

When I first heard the rumor two days ago I laughed . Then I heard it a few more times and then heard Ottawa and Vancouver at stalemate with the RFAs . It has been mentioned by a few media that having Petey and Hughes with the same agent trying to use it to their advantage . That got me wondering.

If Petey was swapped for Tkachuk , him and Hughes use to live together and were great friends. I know it is highly unlikely but makes you wonder could it be?

I would take Tkachuk

Pearson just scored in the scimmage. Error by Halak

Pearson and Horvat still together. Is Green even going to take a look at anyone on that wing besides Pearson? Probably not.

Green is pretty narrow minded.

He looked so much faster last year. Sounds like he has kept it going.

That was fun. Really good pace all the way around.

A lot to watch, trying to keep an eye on both ends of the ice. And not that many scoring chances is not a bad thing — I'm sure the team is watching defensive play closely for both the forwards and the defensemen.

That Lockwood hit on Schenn certainly caught my attention. Gadjovich's goal looked like what we heard about from his AHL play last year. And Klimovich did not look out of place.

DiPietro didn't even go to the dresing room. He is starting his visualizations on the first slice of ice that has been cleaned, in front of the benches.

These scrimmage highlights from today are awesome.

Lockwood absolutely demolishing schenn
Rathbone shutting down horvat
Klimovich dancing around and looking like a 1st rounder.
Lots to be super excited about

Thanks for sharing the experience.

I can think of a player sitting at home that might benefit from the focus on defensive play. Just hope he doesn't fall a step behind while waiting for his payday.
