Just relax everyone. They are going to sign tomorrow. Calm the (frank) down already.

If they don't, I'm going to lose it.

No, I’m serious. Roster is the strongest it’s been since JB arrived, with skilled depth starting to show. TG is no longer a rookie coach and now has both regular season and playoff experience. Our star players are starting to display that swagger and confidence that we saw from the 2010 group.

Finally things are coming together after years of management missteps. And now Pouty, QH, and their agent want to hold the team and fans hostage with punishing salary demands that will inevitably handcuff the team while not yet being complete players?

I want players who want to play and win here. Show me that by taking reasonable contracts that fit under a flat cap structure that looks like it won’t go away anytime soon. That reasonable contract will result in a paycheque that the average Canadian could only dream of.

If that’s too much to ask then they can fuck off.

I sort of agree. If they don't want to sign then do you throw away the year?

A team that needs a center is Columbus . They have plenty of cap space to give Petey the money he is looking for. A prospect like Sillinger a first and Ty Domi who is a free agent next year. You could put Domi on Pearson Horvat line and get a good young center who looks ready to play now.

OK you've convinced me. Trade the greedy assholes. Not only are they holding the team hostage. They're taking in college football while the rest of the team bag skates till they puke. We need to rid ourselves of this cancer before it grows.

Just kidding, I'm still good if they sign reasonable bridges.

Ty might bit old but I get what you're saying. Max out the trade!

Sillinger was a great pick, I thought Treliving was going to cry when Colu, bus picked him.

Really? I was always a huge Expos fan, why I’m not really into the Jays and started cheering for the Oakland A’s.

I know you are joking but I really don't like seeing two young sh1ts enjoying themselves at a football game taking snapshots and rubbing it in the faces of everyone as their team mates really do puke their guts out trying to battle for a spot.

Fuck them.

Just cool your jets rightcoaster, it's all part of the process....they'll sign when the right deal, a fair deal, comes their way. NHL careers are short, I don't blame them one bit for trying to maximize their money.

Meanwhile there is a stack of planks behind them. Idiots. Reminds me of Green and how he uses his forwards.

Dear Mr. Mosquito, respectfully, you’re being a whiny little bitch. The Canucks have had more than 12 full months to negotiate these deals but couldn’t because they fucked things up so badly the previous seven years. Signing Pearson, Holtby etc etc forced them into this position. Instead of sitting back and waiting until all the other players signed, creating ridiculous comparables, the Canucks could have made real offers and locked their guys up a year ago. Hell, they might even have ended up as the bargain deals of the group. Instead they let other teams set the standard.

Both players want to win, I can guarantee you that. And, I bet both players would be happy to do their winning in Vancouver, but they don’t owe anything to the organization, they didn’t choose to be drafted here. As Booner says, they will sign a deal, it will probably be a short one because that’s all the team can afford.
