Maybe he pushed to fast too soon in training.

Maybe we will luck out and pull the Tampa bay. Have him on ltir and he returns for the playoffs. Doubtful though.

Line combos are interesting. Brassard in Hayes spot. I would’ve guess Scott or frost there. Have two solid d guys around frost. His wheels with cam. But also like him with farabee.

Bill,

Serious question. I’m not trying to stir up anything either. The Sens seem to be in a contentious negotiation with Brady Tkackuk. If the Sens decided to trade him and ask for Farabee,I wonder what would be the response from the Flyers side. I know the Flyers love Farabee and just signed him for 6 years so it seems kind of out there. But they’re both the same age and Brady brings some needed muscle up front. Of course, a contract would have to be worked out for Brady. The Sens have cap space to help make all the money work.

Looking at the Sens roster, it looks like they may want a C but maybe they would take a replacement. Is this a non starter or not? Any thoughts on how the Flyers would view an offer including the two of them?

- Minnyhock

I would trade Farabee in a minute for Tkachuk...he is exactly what the Flyers need....remember 2 yrs ago we felt that TK was someone we wouldnt trade . Tkackuck would be a star here..I know Farabee has potential but you have to give to get

There’s always a chance. But I think there are things they want to see from him first and the hole is at center. Maybe if the injuries were all at wing.

Oh the things they told me to only be wrong. Lol.

Yeah. Wouldn’t rule it out just think he would have to blow minds. That’s all.

I love both Farabee and TK….but I would trade either for Tkachuck.
- landros 2

From a strictly skill perspective, I probably would too. Farabee is a tough one because I think he's going to be a really good player, but right now I probably pull the trigger.

Farabee is going to be a star here. What makes Tkachuk better? Name recognition?

Farabee is no longer a prospect. He scored 20 goals and 38 points in 55 games last year in a tough situation. That translates to a 30 goal 56 point season over 82 games. I'd give Tkachuk an edge to this point as a player and he would add some toughness and that PF element to the team but at the rumored price point. I'll keep Farabee. Farabee barring any injures is poised to break out. He could very well be a 35-35 player and we have him locked up for the next 7 years at a 5M cap hit after this season.

I doubt that the Sens would do it one for one. But depending on the details and smaller parts involved, the Sens would like the cost certainty. They will have to overpay like the Wild did for Kaprizov to keep Tkuchuk.

For the record I’m not talking about you. The usual suspects of Claudefather, Ftown and Rinaldo claimed Tylson Foerster had no chance of making the team back in July.

Also remember he was one of the few folks on this team along w Allison that actually showed some life towards the tail end of last yr including dripping the gloves for teammates.

I see a move w TK here, but don’t think Ott takes him plus other assets. Be concerned about salaries down the rd here.

Hey we are lucky they signed him at this point. Especially at 750k. He could be a serviceable player this yr.

Can always move G back to the middle till thanksgiving or whatever.
