If you don't mind me asking, did you decide on Shouldice for surgery? I can't recommend that place enough -- they were awesome!

Friends up the street had a relative die last year. He was a pretty big name - like, probably 500 people would attend his funeral kinda guy.

They still haven't done anything, and they think they've missed the window of opportunity.

I am getting a non-mesh surgery in Truro NS. I told one surgeon that she was not touching me and I would send her a doctor to send my reference too.. Crazy, ignorant female dog.. She told me I was getting mesh because that's the way it's done... You are obviously the wrong doctor for me.. I'll send you the name of my next doc...

She says, where are you going, you are not touching me my dear. Have a good day.

I just bought some new practice pants I absolutely do not need!

$50 was a good deal, though.

Of course, not spending $50 would have been a better deal.

I definitely did not need "Another GD Leafs hat" - at least this is what I will be told by Mrs.Cush when it arrives but for $20 for a full back flex fit hat I will take my lumps and just enjoy the hat.

I have not ever worn the St. Pats coaches jacket/pant set I bought last year and estimate it will be worn once or twice at year at best to "look good on the pond' when I am skating there at best.

I'm a sucker for a good deal sometimes.

I'm procrastinating doing my actual work on a Friday afternoon by window shopping for a new truck.

I'm of the "why are truck prices so insanely high" opinion currently but it doesn't (does actually though because I will get to drive it) help that Mrs. Cush wants the inside to be all Borat (Very Nice) leather etc. because it is the vehicle we take for trips both long ones and just weekend trips with the doggo etc.

If my current Ram 1500 had LED headlights and didn't have the air ride suspension on it I wouldn't even be looking. Yet here I am doing so because she cant' stand the lack of LED headlights (her ride has them) and wont' drive the truck at night because of it. This has a drastic and negative impact on my ability to have many beers at night which sucks!

The air ride is nice but not made for Canadian climates and I need to get out of this truck before it's off the extended warranty because of that. I've had the condenser for the air ride replaced twice under warranty already - the truck is a 2017 for god sakes. The part alone is like 2K and the service folks have told me I've been "lucky" I haven't had any of the 4 air bags actually have to be replaced....they are a mere $500 part each apparently.
