A funny memory I have is when I lived in TN. I got pulled over for speeding in Mississippi and when I did the safe driving course to get the points removed, I had to go to this tiny town in MS that probably had a population of a few thousand people. The instructor was giving some rules for the class in the beginning, i.e. eating, etc... He went on to say, "If ya'll are gonna dip, just don't spit too loud, please."

Turns ya on a little bit to see that Steelers emblem hidden in the RealTree eh? It's okay, I've traded in my flourescent orange for SaltLife fishing gear here in Florida, so I'm just as bad.

I just had to Google dipping tobacco hahah....so it's kind of similar in appearance but instead of chewing it you leave it between bottom lip and gum?
- MattStrat

Pretty much. It's much finer than traditional chewing tobacco though and is very easy to pack into a dense ball of wintergreen flavored nicotine.
Luckily, at least for me anyways they started making them available in pouches so the crap doesn't get all scattered in your teeth. Making it easier to be "sophisticated" while simultaneously being a nicotine addicted white trashican.

- MattStrat

I thought that was the assumed time table anyways.

Boy the getting rid of McCann for nothing narrative is getting old at this point. The Kraken were going to pick whatever center we left exposed as there was no Center depth in the expansion draft. It was either Carter or McCann and Carter is the better Center at this point.

I look at it like the Kraken picked McCann and we traded Tanev for Hallander and McGinn, which would be a positive since Tanev had an "unmovable" contract. Now stop with the McCann for nothing nonsense.

- Hockeywiener

They could have exposed Blueger who had only one year of control left and is a bottom 6 center.

Originally it was thought to be one to two months, and now it's "at least" two months.

Damn. Blueger is with ZAR. Sullivan really hates the guy.
- Thunderbolt

That's one of the things that stood out to me too. I'm guessing ERod is our 2C until Crosby returns?

Dumo and Letang split up too though I'd be surprised if that lasts long.

So guessing our 1st line up entering camp which will definitely change but something to talk about. (Just based on groupings, so maybe someone knows lines)

Guentzel-Carter-Rust
Zucker-ERod-Kapanen
ZAR-Blueger-McGinn
Poulin?-Boyle-Heinen

Pettersson-Letang
Dumoulin-Marino

They had Zoharna playing center today. So maybe flip Erod to 4th line wing and maybe Zoho up to 2c? I'd personally be putting at Blueger 2C, but Sid is only gonna miss like 4-6 games I believe.

My supervisor at my old job was an ex-ranger who was hyper addicted to the chaw. Had a lipper of Copenhagen in at all times of the day, and we’re talking about a place where the dress code was suit and tie. The GM of the office was a crazy disciplinarian who would regularly send people home for wearing dresses or suits she deemed to out there, so no idea how Tommy got away with very clearly dipping in the office. I think he swallowed the dip spit when she was around to hide it.

I remember a kid in one of my high school shop classes back in the mid-90's spitting it through a hole in the shop desk, pretty much every day. It was rather disgusting. Several other kids had the stomach to look at the dried pile at the end of the school year but I didn't.

I have heard from dental hygienists who said that the worst mounts they have ever seen are from people who chew. They have seen tremendous gum damage in people in their late 20's/30's.

I did other bad things in high school shop class, like hooking up the 5 ohm resistor to the power supply and cranking up the voltage all the way to watch it smoke and over-sharpening the center punch I made in metal shop to the point where it could be considered an edged weapon.

Sullivan can't get out of his own way. Bluegs is your 2nd best center at this point and you saddle him with a stone handed winger.

Dude carves his lines in granite. Thanks for the cups Sully, but it's time to go.

As someone who has definitely not shied away from being critical of ZAR, I think this is the right move. IMO it's very important to spread the wealth in lieu of the injuries.

Now, I don't agree McGinn should be flanking them right now. Personally I'd try ZAR-Blue-Kapanen and finally give Blueger a goal-scorer.

I heard rumors after the season that he won't play in 2021. Gonna be January or even February.

Zoharna 3c and Erod the 4th line. If Sid is only gonna miss 4-6 games why not give Zoho the shot at center while we can.

Edit: Also loved the Blue/Kap combo when he first started playing here.

Apparently Sully was focusing his comments about Zohan today. He seems to be pretty high on him.

One time you play Y!, its actually hard to justify playing HBSL, as you have absolutely no control/change over the week. The salary cap on the other hand is a nice feature.

I had to Google what Copenhagen was haha. I obviously know what chewing tobacco is but have honestly never seen anyone in real life, my whole life, chew it anywhere around me.

I live in Canada, son. Surrounded by hockey pretty much 365 days a year haha. Even in the summer still play either ball or ice hockey 3 or 4 times a week. I'm sure there are Canadians that like chewing or dipping tobacco out there somewhere (2nd biggest land mass country in the world) but I've never seen anyone around me dip or chew tobacco. Lots of smokers though.
