maybe it's because I am down here in Florida and I know a lot of people that died from the new strain in august and early december

The Sabres have been trying to pawn that decision off on another team in hopes they trade for Eichel and that team makes the decision on surgery.

It is looking like Adams either reduces his ask from other teams in an Eichel trade, or the Sabres and Eichel need to agree on surgery (fusion or replacement) so the return in an Eichel trade can go up from where it's at now.

I'd wait with the return until after this season, unless its futures or guy who are very young and not difference makers yet.

You're barking up the wrong tree, bandit. I am the furthest thing from Alex the (not so) Great. I won't go any further, but trust me when I tell you that.

I've always felt like the full, healthy value being given by another team in a trade for Eichel was always a pipe dream due to the very public nature of the divorce.

With teams knowing not only that Eichel wanted out, but also that the Sabres want him out, it devalued the potential return.

It's why a mighty chuckle was the result when Adams made the statement a while back that he was good with Eichel being a part of the team this coming season.

I have a difficult time believing any other team bought that at all.

That's because the flu vaccine isn't a true "vaccine" in the traditional sense of the word, and never was considered so. The Covid vaccine works in the same way. It doesn't prevent the disease, just mitigates the symptoms.. It is far more similar to the flu shot than the Polio vaccine and it's not even close. That is why almost zero organizations public or private mandate the flu shot. The Covid shot should be treated the same way if people cared about remaining consistent, which they don't.
