It is indeed Logan Brown to STL for Zach Sanford and a conditional pick that will be removed if Brown plays 30 NHL games

- Stripes77

Funny, Brown really most have fallen in a hole

It would be a very interesting look to see Eichel in a Sabres jersey again playing games after the removal of the C proclamation a few days ago.

It's hard to imagine, but I guess that's what the patience plan is based on. 6 months have passed and we're no closer to that happening.

There’s just 0% chance that happens.

They don’t want him back in that locker room with the young guys

They only want players “who want to be here”

there is a reason why Adams has been banging the “who want to be here” card

it's not because of reinhart or risto

it's all because of how Jack has treated the sabres over the years

and literally all of the other guys seem happy to be here

Also feels like 0% chance a team is going to ignore the injury and pay full/healthy value for him.

The best thing to happen to the US Ryder Cup team was Tiger Woods trashing his car. Change my mind.

I think it is for the thomas's, finau's, spieth's, morikawa's, xander's, berger's of the tour

I do not think it changes johnson, koepka or brysons one bit

it's nice to see these guys showing emotion for a change, much needed

I've always felt like the full, healthy value being given by another team in a trade for Eichel was always a pipe dream due to the very public nature of the divorce.

With teams knowing not only that Eichel wanted out, but also that the Sabres want him out, it devalued the potential return.

It's why a mighty chuckle was the result when Adams made the statement a while back that he was good with Eichel being a part of the team this coming season.

I have a difficult time believing any other team bought that at all.

Ror
Erod
Bogo
Berglund gave away millions of $ ,because he wasnt happy.

The young group should be happy to have a shot at a nhl team. Buffalo or no buffalo.

Nice thing about Rochester: it grooms the players off the ice. Very similar to buffalo in climate ect.

If we consider the 4 premium pieces Adams was rumored to be asking for early on as a dollar for dollar trade, so to speak, then I don't think they were ever getting that, even if Eichel was healthy, due to teams knowing both team and player wanted to go separate ways, as that has been obvious for a while now.

At best, it was maybe 80 cents on the dollar coming back if Eichel was healthy, but with the injury and total stalemate on how to get Eichel healthy again, teams lowered their offer all the way down to 30 cents on the dollar.

I'm still confused how Adams was asking for what he was with the injury issue.

Personally, I don't think anything Eichel said mattered at all. I think the risk and the salary (in a flat cap world) just limited how high the offers got. Certainly looks like there was plenty of interest.

KA overplayed his hand and dug an even deeper hole for himself.

Nobody new how bad it really was until Jack spoke, to me that just opened the door for other GM's to lowball even more.

So basically you think eichels worth 30% of 4 pieces?

That's only a little over 1 piece? each piece being 25%?

30% is what other teams might be offering, but the Sabres can't take less than 60-65%. 2 solid pieces and a 2nd round pick.

I still want 3 pieces IMO 66% is probably the deal price
