Per NHL radio, 6 teams in on Eichel.
Deal must include contingencies and futures based on post surgery health and performance. Deal must also come with payroll relief or at least 2 years of partial salary (50% or more) retention.
Example:
Team A offers a 22 1st, 23 1st prospect ect
Eichel comes out of surgery and completes season without requiring further surgery, and meets measurable matrix

Obviously this is bullsh!t, based on the 2 years of partial salary retention.

They used this as an example for 2 teams that would not have the cap space. Salary dump was also an option, but had to make sense for the length of term left on Eichels contract and the teams ability to hold the cap hit
Such a legend. I love how when the cancel culture came about he just wrote a bunchea jokes that would get him cancelled, never said who wrote them and would have his guests read them.
Since we'll never ever be good again and we'll suck forever, I went looking for highlights of the good old days. This game right here...probably top 3 most enjoyable Sabres moments of all-time for me. I remember thinking "FINALLY, we're better than these @$$holes" ... and "thank God that happened in front of those obnoxious rotten Flyer fans and they all went home dejected". I loved that. I distinctly remember when Grosek got the return pass...I jumped to my feet in my living room in anticipation...then he hits the friggin' post ! Seconds later, he buries it and I'm jumping up and down screaming and hollering like a madman ! That was one of the best moments in my sports-watching life. Also, being at the May Day game with the exact same view as on the broadcast...seeing Andy Moog commit to May's shot, fall out of place and seeing that gaping net...whew...brings me the chills every time .. and I was there !
Anyway, the Grosek goal....top 3 moment for me for this team. You can start it around 8:25 or so :
Man...the whooping and screaming in the corner during their celebration !! Good stuff. Wonder if anyone got hurt on that pileup ?

It is indeed Logan Brown to STL for Zach Sanford and a conditional pick that will be removed if Brown plays 30 NHL games
