Absolutely. People were saying yesterday that teams don't need Jack, which is absurd. Vegas' window is wide open but I don't see them winning without a #1c.

Yeah I'd take Reinhart over Girgensons 8 days a week. Intangibles are good, but ability and talent are better. - TheSabresTaco
Would you for 3 times the price. Of course you would, but $ makes a difference. I wouldnt.
Girgs has been an allstar , sam not ☝️😉
2.2 vs. 6.5
Shouldnt sam be tripling great28's production for the difference in contract value and intangibles.... |

Are you including last season, you know the one where girgs sacrificed his body for the team? Hardly seems fair.
Also sam was making 3+ times what gurgs was making prior to last year correct?
The 14 goal season great28 was making 1.6 million
Shouldnt sam have 42 goals? At 5.4 ? Zero intangibles? |

There's been plenty of great28 bashing around here.
Never heard anything close to this with our "leader" that's now in Florida ☝️ - Boss34
Rhino is wearing 13 now, Boss, so you can keep an eye on him out there. 😉
After day1 of training camp, from NHL/Panthers.com
"Sam's got good instincts," Quenneville said. "I think he's got a real good feel for the game. I think he's got real patience and play recognition and a shot and good hands. I think [that whole line] has that type of thing. They've got some speed. They're going to have the puck a lot."
No matter who lined up with Verhaeghe and Barkov last season, puck possession was a given. When they were deployed together at 5-on-5, the Panthers controlled 60.64% of shot attempts, 63.25% of scoring chances while outscoring the opposition 28-12, per NaturalStatTrick.com.
"It's a new situation for me," Reinhart said, "It's exciting."

Reinhart's going to put up a lot of points this year. I'm also going to predict that he's going to prove to be a real play-off performer. |

I'd rather live in Arizona than Buffalo and have the sunshine while losing, millions of people agree in Phoenix regarding living. - GilPerreault11
I used to think that...until the election. Place is full of crazy Republican weirdo's (how many recounts did Maricopa county try ???), plus scorpions, rattlesnakes, and consistent 100 degree days. It's literally hell there.
Unless someone is trapped there, anybody who willingly lives in Arizona is insane. And that includes any of you $%@#!'s.
Anyway ... if Jack ends up there, he'll regret it, and not just because of that team.

He had 12 goals.
If you're going to make completely irrational, nonsensical points, at least get the facts right.

Flames? Or Habs? - Gr8daygo
Well going off of 89’s little riddle, Anaheim isn’t exactly on the ocean and California was in the top 10 in regards to low humidity states in the U.S.
Only other two that would fit that criteria are Vegas and Arizona.
He veto’d Vegas already and Arizona is going scorch the earth rebuild |

Is Calgary humid? Montreal?
I’m fine with the Ducks! I like the Zegras. But I think that gm is too cheap as 89 has mentioned in the past. |

The win-win, here, if you want to call it that, is the team letting him get his surgery and going on faith that it will be fine long enough for him to show that he can play so that he can get traded. You need to put your faith in Dr. Chad Prusmack and Dr. Andrew Cappucino.
If you're at an impasse like this, one team, whether it's us or someone else, needs to let him get his way. Or convince him to get fusion. The third option is to let it heal on its own, and we don't know, nor does it sound likely, that that is an option any longer. - TheSabresTaco
This is the win/win scenario, and IMO it is possible that Jack goes rogue if he is 100% against the Fushion.
As mentioned earlier, the complicating factor is the position of potential trade partners...ic they are dead set against Replacement Surgery because of the long-term uncertainty of future issues resulting from a high contact, physical sport. I.e. he may have and dec9ger from the replacement surgery just fine...but what about 1 year down the road...could that replacement disc itself cause a new issue? |

Well judging by his warm conditions post I thought he meant warm climate year round.
Which would eliminate Calgary and Montreal |
