The problem is still going to be the same - I am sure the Sabres would be ok with conditionals if they are the draft picks and NOT the high-end center prospect we want in return. The other team can't make the high-end prospect the conditional part of the trade. So, stalemate.

Seems like the conditions would be only on picks, and as Powerslave said, that's going to be complicated.

But why wouldn’t KA attach conditions of his own if the other team approached him with a conditional offer? If only as a ploy to get the other team to drop any conditions and just make a deal.
