Looks nice, like Save On Foods Center in Victoria. Except the arena in Victoria is full of homeless people.

Damn that frustrates me. I make my kids lunches and it would be so simple to send them with pb&j sandwich or a bag of nuts. No one had a peanut allergy when I was a kid. WTF is going on?

My kid had at least one kid in his class with an allergy since grade 1. Was a pain in the ass trying to find some kind of a healthy bar (granola etc) with no nuts.

There are people who legitimately can’t or shouldn’t get a vaccine. A young woman (29) died of Covid in Victoria yesterday or the day before. She was unvaccinated because she was afraid of the risks associated with it. She was immune compromised because of a kidney failure (and surgery) earlier in her life. She quit her job because of the risks, was apparently very careful etc. Covid still managed to get her. She told her father, while in hospital, that when she recovered she would go ahead and get vaccinated. She didn’t make it.

It’s a long way of saying, everyone has their own reasons, and I would hope that the health care system would prioritize those people who needed help the most, but who took as much care as they could to avoid hospitalization.
