I thought it was pretty bad
I checked out 6 or 7 songs
hopefully Hacketts going to come down here - homiedclown
That sucks. I'm sure it sounded better in the arena (I'm cautiously optimistic they will sound better as the tour progresses and by the time they get to Buffalo in Nov, they should be firing on all cylinders, at least musically.)
Hackett is always a great show. I've seen him on his last couple tours, and he never disappoints. I wish Gabriel would tour.
Clarifying the conversation on the podcast regarding Jack Eichel. There was no consensus among the doctors Eichel saw on the west coach specific to disc replacement. However, league sources say the Sabres remain strong in their position the best option is fusion surgery. - Powerslave
He can go see how many doctors he wants, one might tell him the replacement is the best way while another says fusion. He's gonna take the opinion of the doctor saying what he wants to hear cause he wants the replacement surgery. Both surgeries have dangers associated with them, they both work, they both could fail, just 1 doesn't have as much data as the other.

The cost to build Century Field (now Lumen) in Seattle was $450 million 20 years ago which is now $620 million due to inflation. Almost half of the materials from the Kingdome were recycled and used in the building of the new stadium.
The Bills won't have that luxury.
Then take in the price of steel ($210/ton in 2001) to $320/ton
Then look at how much labor has gone up in the last 20 years.
Plus the advancement in technology which is more money (scoreboards, lighting, etc.)
$1.5 billion isn't a stretch especially when you think about how expensive the Cowboys stadium was in 2009 - Stripes77
SO again, how is the Stadium project in Tempe that much cheaper and a much larger scale project.
Also the main point here, PRIVATELY FUNDE except for $200 million.

It absolutely can.
Pittsburgh has it, Washington has it, New England has It.
Being cold weather doesn't automatically mean nothing works.
TO be honest they should look at how the new Braves stadium is set up or Nationals Park. - ImThatGuy
Buffalo's issue is actually population size more than it is climate. Are there enough people in the area that would use a campus like that on a regular basis other than just on gamedays? In order to make it work, you have to find something else that attracts people to the area. Shopping is usually the default suggestion, but the Buffalo Metro area just isn't big enough for more than one of those. The Walden Galleria is relatively centrally located, and retail rent isn't that high (not that it's dirt cheap either). You would have to convince retailers to leave the mall for the new place, which will undoubtedly increase their overhead, because they aren't opening up second locations.
You could try to put other type of activities there. OnCore Golf had announced plans for a Topgolf-esque type of driving range near the Outer Harbor. Perhaps putting it on the same campus or very nearby would help, but it would only be a start. You need more than that. Of course, there's also the issue of getting people the run the businesses down there, because, as we've seen, the Pegulas are very bad at it.
Did anyone hear what he initially said? Is he backtracking or did Pham get it wrong and create a stir over nothing? - Michael Pachla

"there is progress being made, i'm told"
"jack is seeing other specialists, i believe on the west coast, just reaffirming the original position that the disk replacement, which is highly unusual in the sport of hockey, is the right avenue for jack eichel to pursue. And my understanding is, if the doctors, the follow-up opinions, support that original second opinion that the disk replacement is the right path, then chances are he's going to get it done."

I've looked a little into both and I'd just let him get the disc replacement at this point.
Its a shot in the dark but fusion is not the right option for a 25 year old looking to be completely mobile.
Not exactly sure what part of the neck is injured or how severe but my guess is Jack is looking for the surgery that gets him as close as possible back to normal.
I'm no spinal expert but the Disc replacement sounds better to me. Even if there no evidence in the sport it works.

Surgery by October 1st, traded by October 10th - Buff36
I doubt a teams taking him 9 days after a surgery. If he gets it on October 1st he wont be traded till December at the earliest.
GMKA has got to do this right and maximize the return. This years a wash already. If hes gotta come in and play a few games so be it. Stick him in the corner of the dressing room with Skinner and Oloffson and let him rack the points up.

If I'm not mistaken, the pioneering doctor of that disc procedure is on the Sabres side. Jack's camp can find doctors who agree with him anywhere, anytime.
