Flames had a disappointing season, almost as disappointing season as the Canucks did.
I'd expect them to be more entertaining this year with all the size added to the lineup. Nobodies taking liberties on McJohnny this year. A heathy Monahan will help improve the roster.
Sutter for all his faults is a no nonsense coach, he knows how to win and has probably never had a pumpkin spice latte.

Unfortunately when you lock players in 4 -6 years you may as well start getting use to it.

Unless Tkachuk took Dale Carnegie's course on How to Influence Friends and Win People he will still be hated by his team mates. Last thing I heard Johnny Hockey still wants out and you have a team full of drunks .

Suuter knew how to win.
The game has changed.
Calgary lineup is worse this year than last imo.

How so?
We lost a 38 year old defenceman
Leivo, Simon, Nordstrom, Rinaldo......
Got bigger, tougher to play against.
Treliving didn't hit any home runs but he's proven he isn't afraid to make a trade.

They got rid of Chucky's biggest critic in Giordano. He's 23, playing for a new contract. He'll be named the new captain of the Flames and lead them to the promised land.
McJohnny has stated many times that he wants to stay in Calgary, they'll get him signed to an extension or he'll be shipped out for a boatload of picks and prospects.

Flames won 1 playoff series with Gio leading them, and he was injured for that one. Remember the Ferkland series?

Well now you have Tanev and his playoff record is not much better

The CAnadian electoral system is broken.
FPTP is completely outdated and obsolete.

So, with Motte being out for the start of the season, another winger spot appears to be available.

Assuming no PTO earns a contract, I wonder who will step up?
i'd like to see Gadjovich given a shot on the 4th line with some more experienced linemates.

Are you saying you want to be like the Canucks? Isn't that the same as NightHawk when he said he was planning to go downhill?

Trump isn’t president. The US is a mess also but at least a drama teacher that is a national disgrace isn’t running their country

Less about Trudeau and more about how bad the leaders of the other parties are. Need to find ways to get better people into politics.

If you like and or enjoy communism, they're a great choice. There's a reason they've never formed a federal government and they never will

Damn shame that O'toole didn't have a better showing, I really thought that the country had enough of Trudeau and his ineptness to properly lead.

Singh is an idiot, the PPC party took away Conservative votes, because O'Toole went way to far to the centre, but he would still be the best choice.

Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba and the majority of BC should just form a new separation party. (frank) Vancouver and Vancouver Island, bunch of sissys, man bun wearing, tree hugging welfare cases.

The Conservatives only had about 1/3 of the popular vote, which means 2/3's of the country didn't vote for them.
The popular vote, under this system works in the Territories, where there is only 1 riding, the rest of the country, not so much.

Has anyone ever received 50+ percent of the vote in our three party system? Just curious. I would think not. Just looked it up, you have to go back to the late 40’s, the NDP weren’t around then.

Around 65% of the country didn’t vote for either the Conservatives or the Liberals. 80% of the country didn’t vote for the Bloq or the NDP, 98% for the Greens.

It sounds like they're all losers, but apparently for some reason the Communists won.

Never been a fan of 1st past the post, as it doesn't give a fair representation of seats and creates a system of people strategically voting, to make their vote count.
